    Thanks, i was referring specifically to the Corona virus, sorry i did not make that clear. That's actually the only virus i looked into because i honestly got a little scared too(i do have asthma so although the death rate is still pretty low 2 or 3% i think it wouldn't be very pleasant for me to catch it ).

    It was a decent anime in my opinion, classic super robot action, a little dark in the beginning(the anime starts with the earth already destroyed and conquered by evil aliens). The fun fact about Mirai Robot Daltanias is that...it was supposed to be...Voltron. When the americans bought the series to turn it into their own western version they said "they wanted the one with the lion" and they meant Daltanias. They got Golion instead. I guess something got lost in translation!

    Don't worry, there is no way you can get infected through any package coming from China. Bacterias can survive only few minutes outside the host they are in. It's impossible for them to survive in an environment such as a card box or something similar. I had a similar issue and looked into it, you know just to be sure. You will be fine.

    Obviously I can't say anyting about the final result but i found this last trailer very well made. Funny and really crazy, exactly how i would like the movie to be.

    Voltes V would be part of a trilogy called "robot romance trilogy" with the other two chapters being Daimos and Combattler V. Although the three series are not tied together in any way. Anyway it looks more like full CGI rather than live action to me. Once again, i have to say leave the legends rest in peace.

    Ginga sengoku gunyuuden Rai from Joji Manabe I know it's not an OVA series and it's from the 90s...but still it seems almost impossible to find in a decent language. I was able to read the first 8 volumes of the manga but then they just stopped pubblishing. Actually, if somebody knows where i can find the 52 episodes of the series i would really appreciate the help.

    I totally agree. I prefer the 1/48 yamatos in fighter mode too. I think i m going to skip the DX VF-1 and will start applying waterslide decals and draw panel lines on my old yamatos. Do you guys think that the Yamatos 1/48 will now drop their prices due to the new releases from Bandai?

    I agree. While the first three movies(Casino Royale, Quantum of solace and Skyfall) were very good Spectre was a complete letdown. Not only it lost that gritty and realistic feeling they were able to build in the previous releases but it was almost an insult to the Bond character since they changed the origin that was told in the original material, just to make it "more personal". I don't think it was needed. Still looking forward to this though.

    Finally today i got one of my Macross Holy grail. The VF-1S Focker DYRL weathering plus Super parts also weathering. The weathering version of the VF-1 from Yamato is still my favourite despite the DX from Bandai(which is great anyway).I bought them as used but they look perfect to me. Now down with the waterslide decals.

    I am not a big Star Wars fan but after watching the last movies i started to think that for saving the franchise they should bring everything in the past...like thousands of years ago, as they did in Knights of the old republic. I played only the first game but i was really excited to finally see how the Jedi were when they were at their best. Knowing more and more about them, their spiritual aspects, the war with the Sith and so on...i would definitely be interested in a movie like that. What do you guys think?

    Do we have an idea of how tall in battroid mode this will be? I figure around 20 cm?

    Yes it can. At least from the pictures that have been posted so far. Very anime accurate but i still think that the Armor plus from Bandai is better(not counting the QC issues though).

    The rear seat was too big(or Edgard's figure too small) therefore the figure was moving around everywhere.

    Yes it is! Clearly i don't have it since it hasn't been released yet but from the pictures it looks really nice and very accurate to the original design. And no, to me it's not weird at all that the quality of a movie or a series reflects on my judgment about the other merchandise. I always bought only the toys which i felt a true connection to the series they were based upon. I am not saying the quality of the series or the movie just my connection to it. How much i liked it. For example my cabinets are full of toys from Macross zero ( a masterpiece in my opinion) but only have two VF from Macross delta(which i think was garbage) although the mecha design of the show was great. In other words if i didn't enjoy the series the toy to me is just a piece of plastic(or metal). Second i think that us, as consumer, the only thing we can do is to choose what to buy therefore what show or what kind of show we want to go on. I know it's a very idealistic concept but to me it's like the right to vote.

    Well, there is the Great Mazinger DX-02 from Bandai that is very tall and has a lot of details and various gimmiks. Not a big fan of the proportions though. If i were you i would also take a look at the new Soul of chogokin coming up, the D.C. anime color version. Probably the closest thing to the original series that you can find. I think the release date is september. Not a big fan of the metal build from the Infinity movie. Maybe because the movie was so bad that i would never buy a toy that comes from it. Otherwise i think that the GX-02R is still a great toy.

    Sorry but to me the best Roy VF-1S (DYRL) is the yamato 1/48 weathering version with super/fast packs(also weathered). It's going to cost you a fortune but it's totally worth it. I don't own it but i do have a Hikaru weathering and it's just great. Worth every penny i spent. There is also a weathering 1/60 V.2 and i do think that it's a great toy but since that you seem to prefer bigger models and that the 1/48s have more details than the v.2 1/60 i would suggest you go with the first one. Sorry if i am late to the party.
