I just got my MP-6 Skywarp from HLJ - 40% off was hard to resist. That hinge is also very tight on mine, to the point that the left wing part has a big stress mark the first time I move it to only 90 deg. I will try some cutting in the future. Don't know why they made it this way when that hinge don't really need much strength to hold the wing in bot mode. Other issues: the fat finger ball joint on the left hand is completely loose. Also the middle back plate never sit flat in fighter mode - and we see that on every MP seeker photos since Starscream which I think they could fix it by just making it 0.2 mm shorter. I think Yamato releases after VF-0 are better.

It certainly wouldn't suffice. The non-transform GNU VF are not as popular as the much more expensive 1:60. It is the tranforming feature that make those VF interesting, or "cool".

Folding box sounds easy, but what do you do with the plastic tray? They are the main thing that take up space but also the part that actually protect the toy for transportation. Well I guess a bunch of identical trays can stack up nicely.

The list price of RVF-25 is also 1000 yen higher than the VF-25G, and the canopy is suppose to be yellow. And of course Bandai can do nothing on 3rd party imported stuff. We have HG and BW to thanks for that.

That's a weird design you choose, since even the characters in the games think it is a crazy design. In fact it is more bug-like than most - it is designed to look like a beetle with large horn. It also got the strangest meele weapon - a revolver stake. The boxes on the shoulders are not missle pack - they shoot metal pieces like two large shotguns. The Alt is an experimental design base on the original Gespenst. It is suppose to a be well armoured fast assult unit. In the game it is rather hard to use - it is no as well armoured and high HP as the large supers, and it don't dodge as well as other small 'real' types. The Alteisen Riese is an upgraded rebuild after Alt was almost destroyed. It is so unbalanced it need an anti-gravity engine just to stand on the ground without falling over.

It is highly unlikly you will ever see re-issue of this set. For now keep an eye on this thread and the for-sale forum. A few members here have bought the full set and will sell the extras.

VF-0 v.s. VF-1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:F-16Isufa001.jpg Does it look way more advanced than regular F-16? It is probably a good long range bomber, but it is no match for any regular F-16 in a dogfight because it is heavier. BTW that fat F-16I with all those bulges is the inspiration of VF-0 according to Kawamori's interview. VF-0 is a fat VF-1 with bulges.
