Wave 2 in November:
source
New VF-27, YF-21, VF-22, RVF-25, and various recolor. Three are hidden including two related to the coming movie. Still no fast/super pack versions.
Wave 1 is coming this month.
Remember these "transformable" from Kaiyodo?

Revoltech scale should be nicer but I am not expecting miracle.
The Alto and Ozma will be released one month earlier. HLJ had early bird on them before.
They haven't release any real photos of the minis so we can't compare yet.
Both sets are limited by pre-orders at Bandai's own Tamashii web-shop, selling to Japan only. Anime-export.com have order pages for them. I expect angolz.com and toy-wave.com to have a few copies too.
More odd problem today:

This is the forum URL at front page, it it don't work - DNS lookup failed.
Manually change it to this work:

If you are in Japan, talk to Yamato directly.
Otherwise follow this thread about the overdrive store offering Yamato replacement part service.

I don't see the point of going big just for the sake of going big. If the large size allow extra detail that cannot be done on smaller scale, sure. Just to match the size of action figures... I don't know.
The Yamato Votoms are even bigger - 1:12.
It is so cool and so stupidly expensive at the same time...
Previous products of this Tamashii Collectors line cost at least 40k yen. The 3rd party resin kid of the same thing costs $800. This one wll probably cost more than 100k yen.
I would prefer the updated PG instead.
So has there been any 3rd party made water slide decal for 1:60 Yamatos? There are tons of aircraft decal sets from many small party in many scales, but I guess we have this pesky license issue.
You know some of us live in a country that in theory can land in jail for seeing naked drawing or model of underage kid...
Yeah looks like limited generic decal for VF-1, con-limited, and probably for 1:60. And I just come here to rant about how crappy those default Yamato stickers are, like the red "DANGER" stickers on dark blue YF-21 - the sticker border is way more visible then the text.
I only worry about Bandai may do the tamashii shop limited release with the monster. So far on this line there are two giants - the Gawain got a general release, but the Regnant is tamashii shop limited, like the DX super packs.
I hope this one is not as pose restricting as 1:48.
And a question to 1:60 v2 owners: will the GBP butt armur get in the way of the B-mode stand adapter?
