It is probably a good long range bomber, but it is no match for any regular F-16 in a dogfight because it is heavier. BTW that fat F-16I with all those bulges is the inspiration of VF-0 according to Kawamori's interview. VF-0 is a fat VF-1 with bulges.

They are mentioned in the black&white building instruction. Base on the regular set instruction, you can find them in step 1<5>, 2<2> etc.

If you go with the anime that part is blue. You can see it in ep 14.

I am sure they stay away from those for child safety. Speaking of magnet, are the die cast metal in the toy ferromagnetic? That would make any magnet mod simpler.

I am just glad Mr Floating Head is not as picky as Mamoru Nagano, who disallowed any toy for his F.S.S. Mortar Headds because they are not as accurate as models.

Yeah that is odd. And it is not like they just completely forgot one step - instead painting white on blue lower half, they paint blue on the hinge part of the upper half.
