  1. Early pics it showed it as clear-clear. I am guessing it is green now because of the LED doing its thing. As for ret-conning, it is been awhile since I saw CCA but I think the Nu did glow at the end. But there was never any armor seperation. Ver.Ka are quasi official, think RX-78-2, don't like the "gummy" animation version then you can replace with the contemporary one. It is excepted. Sinanju Stein is a welcome suprise, gives me hope we will get Delta Gundam. And some more pics... (Bandai's on a roll here) MG Aile Strike [HD Remaster] MG Jesta MG Age-FX MG Age-3
  2. It is smaller than a YF/VF-19. If there are/were any issues, then I would also have to put it down to it not being the FB2012 variant. Seriously, this is like Takara making MP Otimus Prime in black, white, camo, Pepsi and any other colour except plain red/blue, because G1 animation never showed the waist rotation as part of his transformation and therfore no licence aquired for G1 OP. In other words... Just completely lame foregoing from Yamato on this.
  3. This thread is laking something Nu... Eventhough the amor seperation is non-canon, it still is a pretty cool feature. Now all those clear bits in the inner frame makes sense. And best of all it does not seem to distort proportions like the RX-0 in NT-D mode!
  4. Well the year is almost over and there hasn't been a single re-issue of the VF-0 or SV-51 to capitalize on Macross 30th. So I think it is pretty safe to say those two will be getting renewals.
  5. Teal colours make the VF-171 way more attractive, don't understand why people actually liked the white one. So do we have to start staying from tonight or when is this happening?
  6. This! And now more realistic with the way the Nu Gundam Ver.Ka is turning out.
  7. I'll add: Can I have a 1/48 Actic Gear Rabidly Dog. Takara you failed me...
  8. He doesn't have a license to say it for that version
  9. I am happy for the fact that we don't have to spend more years with Hasegawa's almost complete ignorance of the other modes anymore. Can't wait to see what that Battroid will look like.
  10. That MG Nu Gundam can already be considered the defacto reference for how good a kit is. Annoying I won't have this over Christmas but rather earliest sometime mid January And if Bandai is clever they should capitalize on the Nu and make a HWS Armor version.
  11. I highly doubt Yamato will stop at one paint scheme for the VF-4, considering the efforts they have already put into it. So what other variants does the VF-X license offer (pics) ? Are both games included in the license or just the first one?
  12. Sorry maybe I'm alone on this, but these are fictional fighters transforming into robots and doing all sorts of acrobatics. If someone uses neon-green intakes and neon-yellow landing gear as part of their overall paint scheme than that might be cringe worthy for you (and me). But telling people to hit the books and brush up on aviation standards before painting a fictional mecha to their liking is plain ridiculous. I know some of you are walking dictionaries when it comes to aviation and I truly admire the dedication to the topic, but sometimes some of the posts become a bit overbearing.
  13. Are you just disappointed because it is shorter or are you directing this complaint at Bandai for doing so. Spec-wise the Hi-Nu is only 20 meters compared to the 22 of the Nu. Funny, normally everybody complains about the Hi-Nu revamp (I like both variants equally). As for the MG Nu Gundam, the thing I will miss the most will be those metal parts. It gives it a certain heft and durability. But the proportions of it are pretty poor, especially when placed next to other MGs. So a renewal version definitely was needed.
  14. Off the top of my head Nu, Hi-Nu, Unicorn, Sazabi, S Gundam, Xi, Penelope, Mk. III, Re-GZ
  15. Pity RG didn't turn out to be 1/72 scale. This would have allowed for some of the bigger Gundams to be made. At 1/60 any Gundam that is spec'd greater than 20.0 meters is just not feasible.
  16. The head is growing on me, but it definitely is not instant win. As for the super packs... I think they look pretty tacky in fighter mode. Wish I had waited just a little longer to get the -17D w/o them, would have saved me 40€.
  17. So in light of the current events, do you guys think it is wise to go ahead and get the Gundam DVDs out there while still available? I am still missing some, but I have been holding back thinking that there might be Blu-Ray releases coming along.
  18. Hopefully the Nu gets updated articulation - shoulder movement - torso joint - leg twist, e.g. like Zeta or Mk. II - double jointed knees - split feet One thing I do already feel sad about though is that the metal parts will probably be ditched for the new version.
  19. Holy newtypes, who needs a VF-4 in December!!!? Master Grade RX-93 Nu Gundam Ver. Ka Absolutely fantastic news, my all time favourite Gundam finally gets the re-newal treatment. I am so getting multiples of this. Oh the joy!!! Next Bandai has to help me put tick marks on V2, Xi and Mk. III
  20. Please don't use the Yamato's YF-21 battroid as a measure for comparison, it's one of the worst out there...
  21. Close enough isn't good enough. Not when Yamato pulls of stunts like with the VF-17D...
  22. So is there any chance we will get a voyager class FoC Prime? Did Hasbro say they are going to make more FoC toys in this scale?
  23. The price is steep, but I would be a hipocrite considering I pre-ordered a VF-17D at 254€. But my problem is - and I am betting others have the same dilemma - am I willing to do this for a paint scheme I don't really like or at least associate with? There is no connection here, do not know who flew this variant and what role it played in the Macross-verse?
