  1. Have you tried: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/models...wa/hasegawa.htm If that does not work I can scan the kits I have.
  2. I think it was on starship modeler referring to Hasegawa kits “just and glue and paint, shake, pour out a finished modelâ€. I really like building their aircraft models plus the paint charts are excellent. I doubt that there would be any problems.
  3. Yes, Hasegawa produced the YF-19, YF-21, and the VF-22 Max "limited edition". The first two can still be found for sale and the 22 was rereleased about three months ago.
  4. The Army agrees with your no orange assessment. The new paint scheme for training aircraft has removed the orange. Aircraft were painted tactically but with huge orange panels and big white numbers on the side. The white numbers still remain.
  5. VF-1A Low Vis2 , "Capt. America" conversion kit, some other VF-1 parts with Hasegawa weapons kit. She will be displayed in fighter mode with a second pilot in the back seat.
  6. The angel bird looks great in the VF-1J Max Armor. The blue is a perfect match. Looks like Yamato needs to release seperate Myria and Max Fast Packs to decorate the A.B. The GBP armor is needed for old A.B.s after the paint falls off. Awsome Picks!
  7. Other than the fin; the 0A is a great improvement over the 0S. I hope HLJ will provide a replacement. Thankfully they are easy to remove.
  8. Yamato! Fold the damb fins on the Zeros when you pack them. MY VF-0A arrived with the same broken fins as my 0S.
  9. Gundam marker in the groves then a Q tip with alcohol so it is not so dark and smears with the airflow over the surface. Edit: be careful on painted surfaces with the alcohol it will remove the factory paint.
  10. For Max try Model Master Acryl French Blue #4659. Used it to make a VF-1S Max looks the same as VF-1A.
  11. 1/60 scale the only options for a Yamato two seater: the VF-1D, VE-1, and VT-1. Unless you get one of the VF-1D 1/48 conversion kits.
  12. Haterist, Great news that you got a good Valk. Was that a second release VF-0S? Whose website did you order from?
  13. Excellent job. Yes, the Hasegawa markings look so much better. What type of printer do you use?
  14. While it is not 1D Minmay Guard, there is really cool VF-0B Minmay at http://www.01.246.ne.jp/~eri-shun/06image/top.htm
  15. Is it really that strong? I find that there's always some friction scrapage with whatever top coat I use. Is future able to handle parts rubbing on each other? Strenght is about to be tested, I will be using Future mixed with Tamyia X-21 on a 1/48 VF-1A toy.
  16. Try clear coating with Future. It will be super glossy but will protect the base coat and decals. Or you can mask and not paint the mounting tabs.
  17. Need Low Vis version II pilot and Stealth TV Hands. Thanks!
  18. How was the new two seat cockpit, custom upper, secured to the Yamato lower half? The screw hole from the landing gear well ends up just infront of the second seat.
  19. The Gundam is 1/100, the Hasegawa armored 0 1/72. Hope someone that has the armored model will show the hands relative to the 1/48 Yamato.
  20. HWR MK II it would be a welcome model. I would buy it to replace the decals and parts from my 0D. I would be really happy if they rereleased the F-14, with the correct pilots this time, and Mig 29. Has anyone looked to see if the standard 0 battroid hands and gun pod will work on the armored version?
  21. Is HLJ showing October release on the Zero since they will not return to work until Oct 2nd? Has anyone received a shipping update on HLJ preorders? Gald that the initial reports of QC, other than the decals, is good.
  22. The hard point is between the nacelle and the external tank. Option 2 had to move the engines inboard and the external tanks outboard. The external tank and buddy pod now have a 10 degree cant to the exterior. The gun pod hangs straight down. Would not work on a folded wing since the externals are too close to the hindge. Took a liberty and put the gun on Port side as opposed to Starboard since it was origionally to be viewed from port.
  23. I already stole the pod from a VF-0D to mount on a S-3 Viking. Hope Hasegawa makes a VF-0 weapons kit with extra pilots, wing stores, and gun pod like they do their real aircraft releases.
