  1. In the picture just underneath the 3rd Missile...what are those? (about 10 vertical sections?)
  2. I don't know I was just guessing I guess the most logical would be extra clips.
  3. Yeah they are alittle bigger....maybe they should be called "Middle-Missiles". personally I think Graham is right about the extra Clips. They YF-19 Holds extra Clips in the Shield. So it would be safe to say that the extra space is filled with extra clips. Or maybe it is Survival equipment? Spare parts? Rob MN
  4. Yep it's legit. One of Japan's famous Gift-Sets. Lower quality but pretty rare. It may go pretty high.
  5. Man BUCK ROGERS RULEZ! But are they fast. If it takes a few minutes for them to deliver a kick....that would be....um....bad? Rob MN
  6. It eas the Pink Peckers Squadron.... I think Ray was portrayed as being alittle Gay. Remember when Sivil had control over Akiko, and she was coming onto Ray really strong... but her completely blew her off. Actualy the same with Basara, with Rex and Akiko and he blew them off too. Starting to notice a trend here. But back to the Geperenich's thing. So it is fact that he was a Man. With the looks most women die for. But wasn't It the advisor opposite of Exceedor for the Melentradi? Or am I completely way off. I am watching the series again (after starting this topic) and i could have swore that I saw it someplace.
  7. All of this may be true. Shipping is expensive and it does affect the price of items. However I just recently learned that Yamato is releasing teh Escaflowne Toy in the U.S. The price: around $48.00. Now the same toy here in Japan will cost 7800 yen. So I would imagine that if Yamato could release Macross toys in the U.S. it would be far less than what I would have to pay here. Yes TRU does sell 1/48's cheaper than say my shop. And that is because they order a large volume and can offer it cheaper. But do I think Yamato is influenced about the price they set by reading MW. Absolutley Yes. they know that they will sell it to you guys. That is also why they over-produce them. Japan is small, and while there is a large fan base here for Macross, the amount of toys that Yamato produces for Macross is very extreme. They know what they are doing and everyone here, including myself helps them out. As some of you may know, I tried offering a yamato parts service here. Ordering parts was easy until I posted it here. Then all of the sudden I can't order parts anymore. I don't think that it is a coencidence (spelling). They killed me faster than I could start. Why? Because if people who buy thier Valks (1/48 - 1/60) can get them fixed then you will be less likely to buy the "improved" version. So what does the parts thing have to do with prices...well it just proves that Yamato does read these forums on a daily basis and there is probably some young guy that gives a weekly report to the boss. "Here's what they want, here's what most people will pay." Yamato is a very Japanese company. The kind that in 10 years will go out of business for thier practices. The economy is very bad here and they are making bold moves that are unrealistic for such a small distributing area. Japanese people are just as tired of the crap that Yamato is putting out. Like I said before I haven't sold one Macross related item in the Shop I work at in 3 years. Yamato Products sit on the shelves at TRU until the prices drop so low that they finally sell. That doesn't look promising for the future. MW is a large part of what keeps Yamato's Macross line alive. And it is what keeps them producing Macross related items. As long as everyone here stands for these prices, they will only increase. Look at the 1/60 Destroid Monster. I don't know one person here in Japan that has the space for something like that. Who are they making it for....MW. Anyway that is just my 2 cents
  8. I have the following: 2 VF-1J MAX 2 VF-1J Millia 2 VF-1S Super 2 VF-1J Hikaru 2 VF-1S 3 VF-1A 1 VF-1S Hikaru Strike 1 VT-1 Super O So a total of 15. Rob MN
  9. Hey Master WM, I will look into it. (The Book thing) Maybe I can whip something up. Rob MN
  10. You don't want to know what it means in Japanese slang...
  11. I would love to see someone (even Yamato) make the VF-2SS. It's just a sweet plane! Rob MN
  12. And that is a good question too! Both Ray and Basara had plenty of opportunities to "get the girl", but they seemed only interested in each others.....music.
  13. You can try ... HERE They have some great stuff! Rob MN
  14. Okay most of you have seen Macross 7. There is something that has always bothered me. The person Lord Gelpencich (?), is IT a Male or Female? I ask this question because it is a bit confusing. Throughout the entire show you are lead to believe that it is female. But then in the end when it merges with it's other self, the old uniform ripps off and ...nothing. She has a man's chest. So offically is it Male or female? Rob MN
  15. Okay....then comment retracted. Man I'm getting too old....
  16. Man that is great. With all of these great models being done professionally...makes me really hesitant to put up my mediocre work. Nice VF-1J Rob MN
  17. Hey I am starting to notice a trend. Anytime someone puts up some really amazing work you only slam them. What's your deal? It seems as though you are trying to start fights with members here. If that is your intention here then go away.... <_< That being said..... Man those are really great. I think I have found my new wallpaper as well. Excellent work! Rob MN
  18. I'm down for it. I love this place and yes I have made money from it buy selling items. If Shawn wants (or needs) dontations to keep this place running let's just do it. Paypal is a good idea as most people do have a Paypal account, and if he charged like $20.00 for a year membership or something for the 1123 registered members...that would be $22460.00. which i think would be more than enough to run the site and possible hold conventions and such. MW T-Shirts ect. I also wouldn't mind paying a vendors fee. I think it would be very acceptable. I also think most of the other major sellers would agree. Rob MN
  19. Good question...BTW have we ever figured out how many girls ARE here on MW?
  20. Welcome aboard NANA We get free snacks? Where are they? BTW Nana you look really young in your avatar pic Rob MN
  21. MASTER WM! As always you make models that seem true to life...so realistic it's scary! Seriously Amazing Job. I don't know if this has been gbrought up before, but have you considered writing a modeling manual? You have done enough Step-By-Steps to surely fill a book. And I am sure that alot of people would wish to purchase it. Maybe even submit it to a publisher, and to avoid HG you could submit it here in Japan and have it published. I would do my besty to help you out. So what do you think? Rob MN
  22. listen to the bends. its their best CD. Yup, The Bends is their best album. Less experiment and more substance. I listen to a select few of a wide range. I'm too lazy to change my CD changer, currently it has CD1: Sinatra, Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennet, etc CD2: REM CD3: Weezer CD4: Joy Division CD5: Trashcan Sinatras SD6: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elton John, CCR, Eagles, Clapton, etc CD7: Echo and the Bunnymen, Jesus and Marychain, Mazzy Star, etc CD8: Ash CD9: Beck CD10: Yo La Tengo/Dump CD11: Gomez CD12: Stone Roses The compilations are burned CDs... My tastes are varied with the only pre-requisite being able to identify with the artists vision. I'm kind of dark myself so favs, as in I listen to them 75% of the time are... NIN +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Linkin park I am to lazy to change my cd player as well. Heck... I'm to lazy to move stuff around so I can hook up my third hundred disc changer For obvious reasons I won't do a list like exo . rather than struggle to remember what all I listen to... here is a list of my computers directory of music albums I ripped personally from my cd collection as I like supporting the artists and don't download. I also like to make mixed cds and tapes for work and it's soooo much easier if everything is in one easily accessed place. Keep in mind this is only the directory of artists as if I included albums I would get yelled at for excessive posting... I have over 20 NIN albums . A few compilations/soundtracks are hiding in here as well as occasionally stuff goes in the wrong folder. The only reason you get this is I still remember "dir > list.txt" Directory of G:\My Documents\music_mp3s\My Music jen IAN POOLEY Xorcist Utah Saints Trainspotting tool They might be giants Soundgarden Techno the Tea Party Transmission System of a Down Smashing pumpkins Rollins Band Queensrych rennassance REM Rolling Stones Psychefunkapus Primus NIN Praga Khan Pearl Jam Nirvana Local H mind numbing hardcore Ministry Lords of Acid Dr.Octagon Killer Techno La Funky Jesus Jones Gravity Kills Giuseppe_Verdi Electronic Deep Forest Crystal method Angels_Chorale Captain Beyond Cake Bush Bob Dylan Carl_Cox Big Black Altern 8 311 Alice in Chains LinkinPark Garbage C_C_R lenny kravitz Disturbed Faze Action AKIRA Hendrix Limp Bizkut Lit Fuel NickleBack Puddle of Mudd Social Distortion X marks the pedwalk Mike and the Mechanics DJ G Malign dead or alive tori amos simon and garfunkle suicidal tendancies alanis morissette beatles the bob marley danzig Dead can dance eagles flotsam and jetsam fury in the slaughterhouse greenday jackyl Jamiroquai Janis Joplin jesus and mary chain K L F Living Coulor oasis pink floyd PM Dawn poe Renegade soundwave AEROSMITH u2 teenage fanclub cranberries the depeche mode firehose metallica mother love bone neds atomic dustbin siouxsie and the banshees type o negative longpigs Lost Highway Soundtrack Luscious Jackson mammas and papas Mazzy Star no doubt romeo and julliet Soundtrack silver chair veruca salt white zombie possum dixon Quicksand blur chemlab clutch collective soul counting crows cracker die rache der schonen dog on cd electric hellfire club Enya everclear Forrest Gump Soundtrack guns n roses jewel Killer Instinct Gus Gus marilyn manson megadeath 99x mr bungle pantera R H Chilly Peppers rage against the machine rush Skinny Puppy slim shady spore sugar ray DJ RAVEN toadies woodstock94 alex gopher Dimitri from Paris Hawke Peace Orchestra Pepe Deluxe Q-Burns Abstract Message TANTRUM Thievery Corporation Unkle cartoon covers Mixmag snatch alpha pepper Batman_beyond marcy playground ambient systems 2 back to mine bauhaus beck best of house music bt ima creed dj culture dj kicks dj shadow doors the dope on plastic duran duran electronic trip hop abstraktions everything but the girl feed your head frosty funki porcini gavin kardkiss idjut boys janes addiction john cougar journeys by dj jdj kid loco kid rock led zepplin leggo beast little wing love and rockets akotcha misia moss murk P O D police the robbie hardkiss steely dan sundays the tantric tetris trik turner ultraman up bustle and out The Killing Had Begun Velvet Acid Christ LEaTHER STRIP Front Line Assembly Leanard Cohen My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult Freaks Holy Wood Drawback OhGr Project Pitchfork Snog The Cure stromkern temple of the dog adny the pursuader bad brains benny goodman bjork blondie and pat benatar body and soul cafe del mar chill in chillout 2001 coldcut and the guilty party david bowie dc and sneak derrick carter dj brad smith plus spice dj fluid dj food dj icey dub reggae E Nomine electric blue electro lounge enigma funk master flex future sounds of london garden of eden grace heavyweight duo hooverphonic instinct ambient itaal shur presents milk and honey jackson 5 janet jackson jdj journeys by dj mark farina my house in montmartre nicola conte orb phat global plastikman pure abstrakt sade scott hardkiss presents god within stan gertz bossa nova stoned stryke system soundbar adny the modern sound of ubiquity love from the sun the theory of evolution tom petty tricky turbo studios ultramarine united djs of america united state of ambiance urban dance squad way out west willie and lobo coil blame makurosu for starting this topic Man I have most of the stuff Katana listed, but my fav of all time is...
