So I had nothing really to do today so I broke out the ol DVD collection to sit back relax and watch. Anime of choice today....ORGUSS. Now you may be asking yourself what does that have to do with Macross. Well I will tell you. I was watching the 3rd epsode when the main character Kay (?) was deep in thought about all of the girls he had conquered and left behind when he was sent to the combined earth. He is naming off the girls and the tanslucent faces appear as he names them. Low and behold the last or next to last girl was Minmei! He even says "Minmei". So Hikaru was not the frist to get to Minmay. And according to the conversation and situation that is protrayed in the frist episode showed that Kay had his way with all of these girls. Conclusion Minmay was not as innocent as she appeared to be. Food for thought. So anyone else have any revelations about old Anime that may have had Macross in them as a tribute or what not? Rob MN

Well it's like a loop hole. You can list some thing that you are positive that no one will buy. Once the auction ends and no body bought it you can re-list the item with the original intended item with a very high start price. As everybody knows that on eBay if you list something and it doesn't sell you can re-list it and if it sells, there is no listing fee. So it's like listing for free. It's actually kinda smart and you can save money, but if you do it too much you can get kicked off of ebay. Rob MN

You can get them from me....when I find them that is. For the past couple of months I have been selling them on ebay as soon as I find them. They ususally sell as soon as I list them. i should be getting some more over the next month. The only person I can think of that might have them is Blackaces (Noel). You could probably send him a PM and ask. Or keep watching my auctions. Rob MN

Actually I have all of these kits but I have only built this one. The transformation of these is very similar to the 1/55 scale. The only parts you have to swap out are is the head and heat shield. Final pic until it's finished. Ger Walk Mode.

SD Head Version...personally I don't like it so I didn't plan on painting it.... <_

Sorry about the late reply..... here are the paints I used. 1. Dark Sea Grey - Tamiya Color XF-54 - Overall Base Coat 2. Neutral Grey - Tamiya Color XF-53 - Highlights on the arms, body, and Dish 3. Flat Black - Tamiya Color XF-1 - On the thrusters 4. Orange Yellow - Hobby Color - H-24 - On the fast packs 5. Light Blue - Hobby Color - H-45 - On the Canopy There were a total of 4 kits produced by bandai in this series. 1. VF-1S Struke Valkyrie 2. VF-1J Armored Valkyrie 3. VF-1A w/ Fast Packs (?) 4. VE-1 These were all released in 1990 Now Bandai also released older versions of these that were slightly different. (Like the one I had on auction) They are more difficult to find and they are from the GANSO line. The are made from "Toy-Like plastic and much more durable like a toy. Also they were not as Super Deformed as the newer versions. The Ganso line featured mainly Gundam and there were tons of variations made. They are super expensive here and almost impossible to find, unless you get lucky and find one cheap on Yahoo auctions.
