Hello, Just an update. It has been a week and I haven't heard back from Yamato yet. I am keeping a list of people who want parts if there a second order made. I still don't know the prices of alot of parts due to the fact Yamato won't tell me until they send the bill with the parts. This can be a long process but I will keep this thread updated as soon as I know the information. Sorry to keep everyone waiting. Rob

Sorry to all that I have not been very active on the boards latly...work is killing me. I have sent off a first order to Yamato for parts. Now it is a waiting game. Hopefully they can get it right in one shot. Everyone that has put in a request above this post got on the list. I should know more in a week to week 1/2. But this isn't the frist time Marvel has done it. In one issue of X-Men just after the Onslaught Series, in Franklin Richards Toy Box there is an exact copy of the EVA-01. I can't remember the exact issue but it is there. Rob

I'm sending out the frist request to Yamato this Monday. I have compiled the list of parts needed so far and I will send it to Yamato. This process is long and there are many mistakes. Please be patient. I will also be going through the posts "Above" this one to make sure I got everything. If your name is not on the main list, don't worry, because I haven't had time to update the list. When the parts arrive I will sort through them and get the costs. I will PM everyone who ordered a part when the arrive. Parts that do not have a price next to them I don't know the price. I will try to order hands but they have already said no once. Please read the first pages to try and find the answers to your questions first. I would like to save as much space in this thread as possible. If the answer is not there please PM me. I will respond just give me time. Most often I only have a few minutes on MW during the week. Rob

Way too much..but at the time I Evangelion was my favorite Anime...I had a kick butt job and could waste money. I spent about $1800.00 it. But the Yen rate at that time was about 125 - 130 to the dollar so I got a major discount. Nope can't be fixed. Parts were missing after the move and it just didn't look right. Right now what was left of it was donated to a starving artist who wanted to fix it. I don't think he ever did. No the coat rack thing was cool. I didn't put it over her head, just around the shoulders. Would I ever buy one again? NO! But I am sure the one7s made now are of a higher quality than the ones made in the late 90's. Rob

I bought the 1:1 Rei....but her head broke off when I moved. But they are great to put your jackets and stuff on....really expensive coat-racks

I am going to try and order this week. I will PM everyone when I am ready to send Yamato the Order. Sorry for taking so long with this but it is really not easy dealing with the "People we order from". The problem I am trying to over-come is that we have to still pay for their mistakes. If they send me the wrong part - I still have to pay for it. So I am trying to work out a system for them (Short of going there myself and picking up the parts - ), to make it easier. The parts list with the blank prices....I don't know how much they cost. Asked for a price list and they said "No". The wings cannot be ordered "Blank". The will come with the number related to the Valks they have already released. 1/60 Decal Sheets Cannot be ordered. I just tried. - Sorry Godzilla - Yep I actually have those in hand...about 8 of them from an order mistake. I also have about 12 sets of Tail-Fins if anyone is interested. The VF-1A 1/48's aren't sold out. At least not around Osaka. As a matter of fact you can pick one up now for 8000 yen. I think Yamato's biggest source is the over-seas market, even though it isn't supposed to be sold over-seas.

Like others have said in this Thread. Macross is not "Dead" here, but under publicised (big time). With it not being on Television this time around they are failing to pick up new blood. What is on TV now, Gundam, Power Rangers and Masked Rider. All Bandai Shows, which are aired and re-aired 3 times a week. The older crowd still digs Macross. But in my partners shop Macross is hardly mentioned. They only talk about the above shows. I would imagine that Macross is the most popular in Toykyo. Which does make sense because the major conventions are there. My partner hasn't sold 1 Bandai, Yamato Valkyrie out of his store to a Japanese customer since I have been going there. One of the reasons we stopped buying them. You can go to Toy's R Us here and find an abundance of Yamato and Bandai's sitting on the shelves. The 1:55 sell for about $25.00 now. (But the boxes are trashed) It is still popular here and it would sky-rocket if it had gotten a TV slot. It's just my opinion. I think bandai will re-issue the rest of the line up..as soon as the Yamato's new releases die down. They are watching and waiting like a sleeping giant. Rob

Hello All, I E-Mailed Jesse about this but he may be out for awhile and won't get the mail. I had my partner call Tanmen today. Once again he aplogised for the delay and assured us that the remaining order will be mailed out by or during October. If he doesn't mail them out by the appointed time I asked him to please contact Jesse ASAP. Once again he is alittle un-easy about responding in English as he is afraid it may come across wrong.
