For orders over a certain dollar value, HLJ uses EMS shipping. Give it a day or two, it should then show up in their system or the Jpanese post office. It took 4 days for my order to reach me once it shipped. The DX line has been extremely underwhelming in my opinion. I'll probably cancel my preorder for the armored Ozma because I bet it will be a unposable brick with flimsy attachments. I think you would've been better of with one of the yamato v2 1/60's as your 1st valk purchase. Better build quality, More accurate sculpts, more acessories, cheaper, better posability, etc.

Thank God I cancel my Luca preorder ages ago. My 25G arrived yesterday and it does have the same discoloration as mentioned by others. The hip armors are unexcusable. They remind me of the old 1/60 gbp armors. They constantly fall off at the slightest touch. Hell, all of the armor reminds me of the old GBP armor. Most of the parts don't feel that secure when attached. The ball joints on the shoulder missiles have me most concerned. I'm afraid that over time I will snap one of them during its transformations. After seeing the armor in person, I'm glad that I skipped all of the preorders for Alto's armor, because they don't feel that they warrant the hefty price tag associated with them.

No, I'm with Spiff on this one. The DX has some appeal to it, but all of the issues he brought up are spot on. I was fiddling around with my alto last nite and I keep think about the paint rubbing off the fuselage behind the top of the hips when in Battroid mode. I was also really disappointed in how poorly the tab that locks the crotch piece and waist are. I think over time this will be a potentially big issue because the tab will become retarded and the toy will fail to lock.

Yeah, I think most of the problems are design flaws. I've been really dissapointed in this line since it bears the DX chogokin label. All of my other dx chogokins came packaged with tons of acessories and stands.

I really wish Yamato would slow down or space out their releases better. Between the 1/60 line and the various Frontier offerings, I'm having to make some tough decisions.

I've had my Alto for about a week and a half and it is slowly growing on me. I was as hard on bandai's take on these toys as anyone, and the toy has a certain charm to it. What I would like to see going forward (movie versions), is for them to improve on this toys many shortcomings. Some may not be possible without completely redesigning the toy(But they are a large toy company and this was one of the supposed benefits of them having the license). 1) Extend the neck, make a more secure locking mechanism for the neck plate 2) More acessories for standard versions--Stand, more optional hands, etc 3) improve the landing gear-- longer 4) Improve leg articulation 5) Get rid of the bendy head lasers 6) Find a way to hide the cockpit in battroid mode 7) Add a sticker sheet--I love the no step stickers

What Dante said. Also TV versions, and low vis versions would be nice as well. Can they make some of the Hasegawa versions?

Yep, Besides repaints are a surefire way to maximize expenses spent on the cost and development of the molds. They would get more out of the molds with repaints with minimal to no extra cost since they're only repainting the toys in a new color scheme. I would've thought we would have seen more repaints by now.

Slow down on releases. Everyone repeat after me 1/60 VF-0D and Vf-0B space proving wing. More enemy mecha, 1/60 Zentran action figures (Bretai). Gasaphon figurines

They should make zero toys in this line. I would've rather see them than more vf-1 toys.

Thanks for the pics and mini review Graham. Definately passing on the vf-25S, and seriously considering on passing on the DX line altogether. I cancelled a few other preorders for these craptastic releases and will probably go back and purchase them ( Defender, Max Q RAU). I hate being right about what I thought about these toys all along. Lazy designs, Way too many shortcuts especially for the price point these toys are selling at.

I think that is as good as its going to get with the neck. None of the pics so far have shown it higher than that. Which is a bad sign considering it has been one of the most complained about aspects of the Ozma version.

Well said Dobber. I really want to see pics of fighter mode with the gunpod attached. I bet a million dollars that the bottom of the gunpod is scraping the floor. I also want to see the rear landing gear deployed as well.

The leg armor make the high water Phenomenon look much more noticable than without.

Do you have the back panel pushed all the way in, when in battroid mode? There are two tabs that should secure it in place when the boosters are attached. The panel should be pushed just inside of these tabs. If not, then the panel will flop down when boosters are attached.

The song I'm really digging now is the remake of Ai Oboete Imasuka - bless the little queen. I love its use at the end of EP 24. You know that the sh%t is about to hit the fan once it starts playing. The rest of the episode has alot of little homages to scenes from DYRL that are awesome.

I keep missing Blowtorch. I passed on croc master and wraith a few weeks back and have yet to see them again. I was able to score the 5th dvd pack last week. I need to go back and pick up the rise serpentor arise dvd set. There are way too many toys to buy this month. The walmart near my work place has several BATS. I seems that wal mart put out another endcap(not in the action figure aisle) of the older joe figs and it has flash, firefly, flint, barbecue, bats, stalker, etc.
