I like most others that frequent this site, didn't know about the WF version until we saw the pics. Which by that time was too late. If anyone is to blame(and there isn't) its Yamato for making a cool limited toy that many of us overseas guys want, but appears that we won't be able to get without selling a few vital organs. I just that Yamato makes a general release of this toy because I think that it would be a great sale and a wasted opportunity. And SaveRobotech thanks again for the pics. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated. I don't think that it fair that you may feel attacked by others comments. WA, does your weathering process come allergy free?

Damn that sucks. I enjoyed watching his show, when they had it on discovery. His shop turned out some great looking hot rods.

Damn, I may have to change my raideen preorder to the deluxe version. I wonder if the regular version will come with the sword and motorcycle figure?

Update: I bought the magic swap disk V3.6 with the PS2 Slim Flip Top Cover (For Slim Version) from keepgaming.com. I removed the old PS2 cover (a bitch, to remove the 6th screw and the cover) and installed the new cover. The dvd Boot disk worked and I'm now playing Macross. Thanks for all those that replied to my thread. I wonder if anyone has a online walkthrough for the game as well? I now gotta get a few more import games. I may get a bleach fighting game, and the Takara Transformers game as well.

Awesome grabs VV, for such a short time. -
I seriously doubt that Bandai's 1/60 valks will be any cheaper than Yamato's current offerings. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if they were slightly more expensive because this is their first foray into this market with a toy whose transformation is much more complex than anything in the SOC line. I hope that they get a few samples of Yamato's current offerings to dissect what they have done (what's worked, what could have been done better, etc). I think that its kinda funny that so many people implicitly assume that Bandai will do a better job than Yamato in this arena. I'd be happy if they come close to the standard that Yamato has achieved with the yf-19 and the sv-51. Very few companies nail their 1st attempt at something. I hope that the 1/60 isn't made primarily of metal--like the SOC line. Because metal, transforming toys, and paint usually don't go over too well.

I was finally able to snag all of wave 6 at wal Mart during my lunch break. They had multiples of each figure. The only drawback was the increased price of $5.44. Wal mart has restocked various toy lines very hard this last month. Star Wars, Gi joe, Halo, Transformers, and Marvel legends have seen numerous figures in their aisles.

I think the human figures are some of the better toys in this line. Revy from Black lagoon and the Fraulein line are beyond awesome. I like to try to come up with new poses for them every other week. The evas are also very good for posing. We should start a thread devoted to all of the action poses possible with these figures.

SR we need pics, you take some of the best pictures around. This sucks so bad. I hope they release this toy to the general pubilc. I'm more excited about it than I am over the PT 1/60.

So Klam, what Boot disk are you using? I saw a few on modchipstore.com and was wondering which one to get.

So is Max Factory the producers of the Figma line? That saber is a must have. She kills the revoltech version.
-
How can you have 4 SF revoltech's and not a single one is Ken???? If they add him, they should make him with long hair. Ryu may have to borrow the shinee Spark from shin getter robo. My Rin Revy came in this week and I love her. I really love the Fraulein line. I want to see Maj. Kusanagi, Misato and Kanu Unchou next from this series.

I wonder how an 03-04 Cobra would handle drifting? The reason I ask is because it does have and IRS.

I know I'm alittle late to the game, but I'm getting macross for the PS2 soon. I'd like to know what I need to play it on my console. I have the new silver slim ps2. Its Model # is SCPH-79001 with a date code of 7C. I know there are boot disk for the ps2, but I don't know if mine is covered by the latest versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW what happened to the old thread for this game? I didn't want to start a new one, and was hoping to find the answers to my questions in that thread.

What is that blue valk to minmay's left? It looks like a blue angels. -
Where are you located real one? I've heard that wave 6 has hit AZ. I hope to see them in the next day or so here in TX.
-
I hope HLJ will be carrying the rifle.
-
I used the angel birds for mine. I bought a 2nd angel birds some time ago. Id suggest the angel birds or even Kakizaki's. There has to been a ton of these 2 schemes floating around for cheap prices.

One of my local Wal marts restocked the Wave 3 2 packs. I couldn't resist and bought the Ace/WW set, and another CG/Scared CO. They also restocked the wave 4 figures.
-
To each his own. I love the new Challenger, Camaro and Mustang body styles. They look retro, but at the same time you can see an evolution of the designs they each play homage to. Another thing that I like about them is that none of them can be confused with any other cars out on the market. I think this is where the GTO failed miserably. It looked too much like several other vehicles being offered by Pontiac and a few other manufactures.
-
I've heard the same from a girl who did some similar mods to her gT 500. I makes alot of power once the restrictive intake is swapped out. The Challenger rear reminds me of the NSX.
-
I just got back from Wal Mart and picked up Tomax and Xamot, and the CG and Scarred Cobra soldier. They also had Ace/WW and SE and SS 2 packs.

Great. My worse fears concerning the Frontier License have been confirmed. Looking at those prototypes, I seriously doubt that Bandai will anything worthwhile with the license. Valks shouldn't be done in a scale smaller than 1/72.
