I have one of the original Vf-0S that were released with the floppy arm problem. Mine didn't have any shoulder problems. I bought the replacement arms that HLJ was selling and they fixed the loose arm problem. So I would assume that the VF-0S combo would have atleast the loose arm problem resolved. I wish Yamato would space their toy releases a little better. This has been one expensive toy month across the board. Not bad at all. Swoosh have you noticed any differences between this rerelease of M & M vs their original releases (if you have the originals)? On a separate note, is the SPEC movie Eva 01 out yet? -

Excellent pics yet again Swoosh. What impresses me the most is the short amount of time that it took you to panel line and sticker two valks at seemingly the same time. -

If you liked 52 I think you will like Booster Gold. I bought both Issues, but I haven't read #2 yet. I share the same opinion on Geoff Johns. I think he is currently turning out some of his best work. The brave and the Bold has also been another good DC title. Great story, great artwork. Kurt Busiek's run on Superman has been a pleasant suprise as well. I like his take on the character, and Pacheco's artwork has been real good. Loebs Wolverine will be easily forgettable. The Wolvie Sabretooth arch was a mess. Luckily it has all the elements to be easily retconned. I wish marvel would get over the Kill a well known character stick. Its getting old real fast. I still need to read Hush. I've tracked down and bought most of the issues but I still need to find a few and read them all.- 565 replies

I forgot about ThunderBolts. I love that title. I just got into it and it has been awesome. I love Deodato's artwork nad Warren Ellis is Warren Ellis. The man knows how to write. If you like Morrison read Seven Soldiers, and Animal Man. I would also recommend 52. Morrison is probably the most creative writer in the industry today. The only reason I even look at All Star Batman is for Lee's artwork because beyond that it has been unreadable. It took what 5 issues for Batman and Dick Grayson to get out of the Batmobile. Lets not mention how chronically late this title is either. DC better put an end to this trend quickly or they will continue to lose readers. It's like the 90's all over again.- 565 replies

Warren Ellis and Simon Bianchi are slated to take over Astonishing. My big problem with Astonishing is that its continuity sucks bigtime. You have no idea what timeline the stories take place in relation to the other X-books. I guess the real culprits behind this are the editors and Whedon(slow writer) and Cassaday(very slow penciler). I think the best X-book is X-factor. Peter David is one of the only writers around who can take 3rd rate characters and make them interesting. World War Hulk has also been very good. I just wish that Romita wasn't the artist on the book. Manga that I read are Inuyasha scanlations , Bleach, Battle Vixens, and Battle Club.- 565 replies

The Sinestro corps and the Green Lantern relaunch are currently one of my favorite stories right now. It has been a nonstop roller coaster so far. You should also check out JSA, All star Superman and Checkmate. I think these are DC's best books. I didn't care for the Shiar Storyline in Uncanny. It was way too long with way too little happening. Vulcan (which I hate) had too much book time and the X-men had no real exposition. What made it even worse was that the end of the story had no resolution what so ever. Very poor writing in my opinion. The X-books are currently in major upheaval. Some books will be cancelled and their promises to be new creative teams. I think the X-books have largely been lackluster since Quesada took over as editor. It really didn't help with writers that had no business mucking up the X-verse with the poor writing(House of M) He wanted the Avengers to be Marvels flagship title.- 565 replies

The revoltech VF-1J and Black Getter are out now.
-
As much as I love my Prime, it in no way is better than my worst 1/48. This was a pretty bad list. It should have been labelled top 100 American Action figures. Muppets better than SOC, Revoltech's or 1/60 or 1/48 yamato's??? NFWay.
-
I like the blue one the best and then the beige one.
-
Speaking of 1/6 figures check these out. As much as I love macross I'm content with simply the non articulated figurines or models. Unless someone made a kickass Focker doll with Claudia and beer can acessories. http://www.hlj.com/product/MEDRAH220-43 http://www.hlj.com/product/MEDRAH-350 http://www.hlj.com/product/MEDRAH220-50 http://www.hlj.com/product/MEDRAH-276

Wicked nice GT!!! Did you change your foglight grill? I don't see pony up front and the center 2 lights seem closer together. I'd like to get a gt 500 so bad. I saw 2 today at one of my local ford dealeships.

Great pics guys. Hopefully others won't have the pin problem, but it seems like an easy enough fix. Ditto on the sticker sheet. I still have alot of left over stickers from Taka's sheet's to No STEP the SV-51 to death.
-
I may to pass on this for awhile. Best Buy has the cheapest price I've seen so far, but I bet Fry's will beat it this Friday. I have alot of toy purchases (Revoltech eva's, Yamato Sv-51, Gothic Kanu Uncho) coming up this week, and I've already splured on a few dvd's already ( Killzone, Seven Swords, Melancholy of H. Suzumiya vol 2).
-
Thanks for the pics and info guys!! I can't wait to get this bird. Swoosh do you think you can post pics of the sticker sheet if possible?
-
I think its pretty obvious why they choose the VF-1 and the 19 as the anniv valks. The VF-1 series because it is the most iconic, has been around for 25 yrs. The Yf-19 because of all the recent valks this will be its first alternate scheme(maximize the molds), and with the exception of the soon to be released Ivanov, its the newest valkyrie that Yamato has.

I am so getting both of those. What are the chances that there will be fast pack versions of either? If they don't release fast pack versions then Yamato should atleast rerelease the the stealth's fast packs. On a separate note what are the chances that we will see Supernova schemes?

Thanks for sharing the pics. Kaiyodo continues to impress. Hopefully we'll continue to see more humanoid characters in the future. The girl in the school girl uni reminds me of the girl from Blood. I esp. can't wait for Shin Getter, the evas and Gaiking. I really like the DYRL poses they incorporated for the VF-1S.
