They will charge you for the shipping and the parts you request. They're pretty good about getting replacements, Though I was unable to get a spare part for my vf-0s. I can't wait to see Iron Gear. I had one as a kid. I recently bought the SOC Mazinger renewal and the Aoshima weathered Getter. I should get them in the next few days.

Maybe it was the Enzo I was thinking about. Yesterday's paper mentioned that a Ferrari (one of only 400 made) was totalled during shooting of the film. It also mentioned the porshe as well.

I heard that they totalled his F430 performing a stunt.

Aoshima Variable 1/48 Legioss for 2007
Golden Arms replied to Save's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
So are there any pics floating around of the Aoshima legioss? They're slated for a July release so there has to be something. I preordered all three, but if they're simply rereleases of the Toynami's then I'll cancel. -
Kung Flu In some of the earlier seasons episodes they would occasionally run into a planet/ culture were they had problems associated with language barriers. They would encounter a culture that Daniel had to decipher there language in order to communicate with them. But as you can easily see with shows like Star Trek and SG-1 where each week they are constantly encountering new cultures this issue would get rather cumbersome/old to plot and story progression. So the viewer has to suspend disbelief to a certain extent for the show to work properly. One way that they have gotten around this issue is that in the show most of the planets that are inhabitated by humanoids were colonized by the ancients. The people who orginally built and left the Stargates. This would make the spreading of similarities of ideas/culture very easy.

Nice Collection SMan. Very diverse. I even like the SG-1 Figures. You outta take a few more pics of your customs. -
What was the first Macross toy(s) that started your collection?
Golden Arms replied to UN Spacy's topic in Toys
For me it was the Joons red, white and Blue 1/55 Hikaru vf-1J -
That is in essence my main gripe with the designs. Joe blow moviegoer is not going to see/ make out all of the intricacies(shredded look) of these things in a dark movie theatre as they're flying around fighting each other.

Battlestar Galactica Discussion
Golden Arms replied to HoveringCheesecake's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I've kinda been thinking that Starbuck could be the 5th Cylon. Her mother could've been an older version of herself. That would kinda explain why her mother abused her as a child. -
I pick up this new version. It isn't too expensive. My only real complaint with the current SPEC Eva is that I wish they would've included some sort of stand. I think the figure could use a little help when posed in some of the more dynamic stances.

Great pics. I can't wait to have Ivanov chasing Fokker in fighter mode.

1/48 VF-1J Super Valk Millia and Max reissues on HLJ
Golden Arms replied to Briareos's topic in Toys
Great, now I can finally get Milia. The Dream car fund is gonna have to wait a little longer. I didn't realize that the 1/60 Ivanov is coming out the same month. July is gonna be one expensive month. -

Nice Mospeada Collection Totoro. I need to dig mine out of the closet. -
I know its very early to talk pricing on the new Camaro, but what is the MSRP going to be on these things? The reason I ask is b/c I wonder how GM is going to keep the SS from cannibalizing potential Vette sales. Ford saw a price increase from the 03-04 Cobra to the GT 500. I bet GM will as well for the higher end version of the Camaro.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this film. I don't think that all of the intricacies of this story will translate well to film, but we'll see. Even if this film were to be 3 hrs in length they would still have to gloss over alot of relevant material. I don't think that this is a story that should be made into a film. Maybe an HBO miniseries but a feature film hell no.

They did the same thing with the YF-19, but had it in stock for their initial preorders. Also, HLJ closes for the weekends.

Yeah I can't wait for WW3 as well. Black Adam is going to open can of Whup A@# on intergang. I was disappointed to see Isis and Osiris bite the big one. I was really starting to feel for their characters, and I liked the idea of a Black Marvel Family. But a kinder, gentler Black Adam is not in the cards.- 565 replies

I finally got my copy of CaP #25 and read it. I still haven't read the Initiative yet. In the last issue of New Avengers Someone dressed as Ronin and Daredevil both appeared together to save the current Ronin from the Hand. I was thinking that the Ronin impersonator could be Steve Rogers who merely went underground. Also Nick Fury has used robot doubles in the past to throw people off. This could be one of those situations except maybe Cap pulled a fast one on everybody else. There is a rumor that the Punisher could become the next Capt. America.- 565 replies

I should've gotten a copy seeing that Captain America is on my pull list. But the comic shop that I frequent picked a shitty time to not put all of the books I request in my bin. So no I didn't get a copy. Dipshitts!!!!! Lets see how long Cap stays dead. Marvel has been trying to get a Captain America movie made for some time. I thought he was going to die at the end of Civil War. Nice to see that my prediction turned out to be true even though it was a week late.- 565 replies
