    The laptop is maybe 2 years old and has an Nvidia 9800m gs in it now, and I know nvidia makes the current models for laptops. Also the video card in this is not sodered in I have removed it before for cleaning and reseating, as that tends to be this beasts major source of problems.

    Where can I buy a notebook video card online? Nowhere I normally look online can I find one, and I think the video card on my laptop is starting to go.

    You know, with a little plasticard, the cheap robotech VF-1S vehicle toy and a few other bits and bobs you could make a decent 1:18ish VF-1 toy out of the skystriker.

    +3! The gunpod and its carriage is more iconic to this mech then the missile bays in the legs that were shown, what once or twice in the entire run of the series? Better to just scribe the panel lines in place to they can say that they are there then focus on the gunpod mechanism. They only comprimise I see is the have the gunpod in the one leg (which is correct) and the missile bay on the opposite leg, but then you would have to sacrifice the beam adapter.

    Ok, I will try reseating the ram, this computer has had issues with that in the past.

    Having a bit of a weird problem with my laptop. It keeps shutting down at random, usually after a couple of hours, but sometimes after just half an hour, other times it will run almost 24 hours without an issue. I thought it was a heat thing at first, but I cleaned it throughout, reattached the heat sinks and fan and still it keeps doing it. I even set it on a good external heat sink, that seemed to help, but still it shuts down. It came back clean for virus' spyware and adware, so any ideas?

    Back on a Star War Topic. This trailer once again illustrates one of my biggest beefs with Star Wars, technological stasis. This game takes place what 1000 years before the movies and yet the tech level looks the same if not higher, and the Jedi/Sith more powerful as well. What gives folks, is that the pinnacle of technology, why can't they at least try and make the stuff look more low tech in some way, big bulky power packs, oversized equipment, etc...

    Finally wanted the preview for this. I am not a huge gundam fan, but double pass. The mecha designs are passable, except for that stupid chest hatch sticking so far out, that just looks dumb. The enemy mecha look cool, interesting designs there, and the ships look ok, nothing special or unique. The character design though really kills it for me, I'm sure it would draw in my kids with those characters, but it will not age well at all. I'll just wait and finish out unicorn and then hope for some good UC Gundam again. Heck what I would love is if they would just go back and redo the whole UC Gundam after unicorn, update the designs, update the story, fix the continuity glitches etc... Maybe, even go with the novel version where Amaro dies, but then that makes the sequel series that much harder to do.

    Also, the music in the trailer may not be in the final film, often time they just use what is available and it might not be from the movie, so don't judge it on the trailer music.

    Well upon seeing the trailer I agree with stackpole, who wrote the novelization. The overall story, and even the actor, are closer to the source material in overall feel, look, and he even agreed that the story would fit in with the majority of RHEs works. However, upon seeing the movie itself, and it was a rough cut without effects, he was left feeling flat about it. Too much special effects made it in that overpowered the story. He said it could still be good, but he will need to see how the finished effects and final editting turn out. Also the version he saw had little or no music so that didn't help.

    Not loving it, they obviously did no homework on the F-35. They should have just made up a whole new plane. Just from looking it over quickyl I saw the following errors on the F-35 like a lighthouse beacon: FSW on the F-35, no, very bad. Pilot's helmet, completely wrong. HDD, again completely wrong. Weapons bay doors, do I need to explain how wrong these are?

    My DO and I have been looking at the pictures and agree with the silenthawk hypothesis. The tail looks clearly like a LO version of the standard blackhawk tail, plus the rotor head is straight off of an MH-60, which he used to fly so he called that out quickly.

    Why are they making a big deal about getting the database from the escape ships? The things are sublight and the database they accessed intially would have told them the course and speed of each ship, it would simple for destiny to plot an intercept course and meet up with them enroute to transfer off their rescued folks and get the data to help their doctor.

    That actually looks interesting, and possibly well written, still want to know if it will show the nuke war and why humans degenerated
