    The bioroid and the pilots' armours always interested me, would consider decent 6inch figures of these, but the rest from the plot to the main characters never held my attention neither as Robotech or Southern Cross.

    I have to say, for a 80s show, this brand sells well... my doubt is that if whatever future show or film don't attract younger fans, once the older fans head into retirement, the obvious will likely hit the brand. I'm really curious to know the age ratio of the 19000 backers.

    They of SW team threw those headings on that white board as starting points. They did it, not the fans. It went public, and people have the right to comment whatever within civil lines about it. And considering how most of the SW projects have most of the headings on that whiteboard, it's indicative that these are their constantly used starting points.

    They had planning, that of staffing too many contemporary ideologies along with memberberries bait in an overcooked lasagna. We all remember this taken from their behind the scenes... I've yet to encounter a SW majority that wished for 'Dinosaurs'. 🙄 (Still cannot find any official survey or poll about this) Oh, and Star Wars "not pro-war"? 🤣 And they really nailed "Relatable characters" and "Complicated monsters". 🤣

    This is pure gold. Always amuses me. When I was teaching many moons ago, in the design field for entertainment, I was so hard on my students about not copying existing work... And sometimes I'd still get blatant copying along with a pretty typed out page justifying it.

    I get you. But I'm probably in the minority here that feels Macross 7 and Delta just feel disjointed from the rest in this time line, so perhaps a alternative timeline rebuild that is more consistency wouldn't be so bad?

    Yeah, I watch occasionally their toy store tours. That's quite a drastic comment. But please... elaborate more how you see people with an a opinion about a certain film, could align themselves with N@zi's?

    Merch sales is already kicking them in the nut with action figures, as most of the staff since the 90s was horded by 80s kids that now are starting to focus on other priorities in life all while the kids of the following generations grew up into digital media.

    I agree. Hence I kept mentioning "these" and "hero films" as my argument is about superhero fatigue that's it accumulated by a saturated market of a poor quality content of late. I'm not disagreeing that other franchises can't succeed. I remain to the opinion that for the next lot of Superhero films to get audiences really excited, then there shouldn't be one for a long time.

    People will always show up. But gone are the days these type of films will make the numbers they once did. We're now past the end of the first Marvel story arc followed by years of disappointing hero films and shows, saturated market with same formula, and all competing against streaming where it's more convenient for most.
