    For that mix, I'd definitely go multi-monitor, and probably with horizontal mount 2-3 screens. Maybe 1 vertical for the writing, but vertical is pretty useless for 3D CAD work or gaming.

    If you work a lot with documents I find having a second vertical screen off to the side works well. Not very useful if you're looking more at websites or the like however.

    I consider myself fortunate I only ever got into Metal Builds (and GFFMCs and other equivalents) for certain shows. Wing, Full Metal Panic mainly. If I was going to try and collect for SEED or 00 I'd be pulling my hair out right about now.

    This arc has a very long buildup, though we're finally getting to the climax. I like they tried something different with integrating both Chise and Elias into a more social setting, but yeah the slice-of-life stuff with these quirky teenagers gets boring.

    Desthscythe is the only one that really interests me, though I do find the "Astray Rangers" mildly amusing.

    Glad I have a few other things to ship the Monster alongside... ...Though HLJ is sending complaint emails telling me to ship it all out.

    I'd start by checking out Mandarake, they have their inventory searchable online, and it'll tell you which store it's at.

    DX bases are hollow plastic, they rely on the size/width of the base being underneath the center of mass to keep things from tipping. I'd be very careful about mounting something too high up, or too much off-center with one.

    Personally, I'd much rather see "robotech" merch in the Toys subforum than the daily multiple completely unrelated to macross in any way posts in the recent purchases thread on the toys subforum. Especially with actual decent quality Robotech stuff starting to be produced these days, rather than just toynami figures. As far as non-merch robotech stuff...that can definitely stay in the "Anime or Science Fiction" section.

    It would definitely have gone back to Kawamori for a second pass, or had the proportions changed a bit so that the CAD models/transformations would mostly work. I can see him adding in leg shortening mechanisms, maybe shrinking the calves or tweaking the torso a bit.

    Well, glad I've got a couple of Yamatos, but I'll be grabbing a bandai for battroid. Not sure which Gerald I prefer yet.

    Nope, but being able to replace or print modified versions of parts is quite nice.

    Not bad at all, my preorder ended up around $205 before international shipping, so probably about even (depending on local tax).

    Just wondering if any of the Who fans here are aware of, or what you guys think of the Dr. Who Magic: The Gathering release that just happened on Friday? I've heard the theming and such were pretty on-point, but I'm more into it from the card side than the Who side.
