    Looking at the pictures from behind, it certainly does seem like the side-armor for the legs isn't fully in-place for whatever reason.

    I eagerly await the various MOC fixes for it so it doesn't look so wrong. Mind you, I'm usually the last one to complain about proportions and such, but it's just so far off.

    ¥38,370 is a decent price. Only ¥3,170 markup (including domestic shipping).

    Metallic Rouge seems to me to just be a Bladerunner/generic scifi themed transforming superhero show (Gridman, Garo, Ultraman, etc...) I will say, however, that I am eagerly awaiting the OST, since so far the soundtrack has been quite nice.

    It’s worth mentioning that the places you see pins in thin segments are light load. The backpack connection would be a high load area, and see much more force than for example the various collapsing fins on other toys.

    Honestly, given how horrible the anime magic is on the source material, I'll forego lineart accuracy for either "looks good" or "poses well". Yamato seems to have gone for fighter mode and looking good, whereas Bandai tried to optimize posing well and Battroid. I'll reserve judgement until I get mine in hand, but the Yamato one certainly is not what I'd call the ultimate imagining of the -21, outside of fighter mode.

    I still need to put together my 1/24 Hachette strike VF-1… Sure, the final thing will be huge, but it’ll still be smaller than the 150 boxes of subscription kit.

    Maybe it's so when the mechanics swap out the hardpoint wings they don't get mixed up on which set to grab? 🤣

    They don't turn on the in-flight wifi until after takeoff typically. Also: China Airlines, going to Taiwan.
