Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+
Sanity is Optional replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
On the whole, it was good. Though I noticed one big difference between the What If episode and the Captain America movie:- 1494 replies

The shields reject anything over a certain velocity, so training to both strike just slow enough to penetrate the shield, plus training to be able to actually hit someone with such a slow strike. From the early lessons with Gurney, there’s a focus on feints and counters.

Can confirm the custom weathered DX Roy (+SSP) I got from @Red Comet is quite nice. Not cel-shaded like the LEK customs, but still a nice weathering job plus extra decals.

I’ve been hoping for a Bandai 1/72 VF-31A… I guess it’s a lot more likely we’ll see the 31-AX as a model kit, since they’re hero units. Would have been nice to have a kit without all the ridiculous stickers/decals though! -

Well, you are on Macross World, aren't you? -
It looked like there were two versions of the figure, a lower cost and a higher cost one. Im going to wait and see if a second version shows up for pre-order, and what it has.

The ratcheting pivots for the engines are a very nice improvement, as the older version had a tendency to sag. -
3d printed parts for a DX VF 171 nightmare plus?

There are triangle replacements, not aware of anything done for the knees though. -
Luna Park had an issue with DHL shoving all their stuff into bags for shipping, rather than boxes, didn't they? They might be changing how they ship items, and you got stuck waiting for the transition.

Considering 3D printed started with homemade hobbyist builds, I wonder if anyone's designed and built their own decal printer?

You know you want to, just need to find a justification 😉

Wow, yeah, that’s quite a bit thicker. Guess that’s the price we pay for beefy arms rather than noodles.

...I got mine from P-Bandai us website. Tried via a proxy, but they filled their orders.

I like the new arms, significant improvement with the larger and bulkier profile there. -
I like the new arms, my biggest problem with the look of the VF-31 was always the tiny spindly arms.
