    Well its not going to happen if they cant even get 200 orders to justify the 167mm. The 176mm typo size (closest to 190mm) would have suited me better than 167mm (too small) or 209mm (too large), but I could use either in a pinch. The 1/48 is pretty much a useless size for a toy, its way too small a toy to pit against even the Revoltech Regults.

    Its like a Battlecat chibis. This reminds me of the time I recoloured a photo of my sister's cats to make them look like Battlecat and Panthor. Pity I don't have that pic anymore.

    Quite excited for this, the animation quality looks really good. Infinitely better than that new "She-Ra" abomination. I certainly hope it stays broadly true to the 80's story with no jarring changes to the nature of the characters. Dare I hope for a classic Battlecat vs Panthor encounter somewhere along the way?

    I'm curious as to how the Bioroid scales with Cap's other humanoid alien soldiers and mecha (not the 1/12 Malar of course). Are the toes still articulated with change?

    Ok preordered another 10 "oversize" Gurabs. I'm justifying this by the fact that I need my Zentraedi to be heavily outnumbered, but this is my limit. Come on rest of the fandom

    First of the Figma Warrior Bugs came today. Theyr'e really small so they may be small enough to pit against the MEP Toys 1/48 Gurab (of course in-universe that would make them rather large).

    Could work only if its downloadable. I have no use for a medium where someone else has the ownership and control.

    Not maybe, definitely. For the pilot to fit Zentraedi mecha would have to be - as PC's Glaug pilot figure demonstrated in 3d - much larger.

    The fortunate thing about these being RT toys is that we won't have to worry about them being ludicrously tiny compared to Breetai, as in that supposed official Macross size chart.

    The 167 mm Gurab looked about the same height as the Breetai figure. So it should come about here on the 190mm Regult. The 209mm Gurab will be even better.

    Nah, even if I was into battroids I wouldn't get this. I know it's meant to be dynamic but my eyes just see a chaotic delapidated jumble.

    But will this result in more Alien Bad Guy stuff being produced and sold? And/or featuring more prominently in the anime? if it just results in more idols and valkyries then what really will have changed? True. But the figure range needs to expand beyond idols/humans.

    Man that is small. Really hoping we at the very least hit 200 backers to get a more decent size.

    Gurab can be read/imagined in English as an alien designation whereas grub and grab just come across as incredibly unimaginative human descriptions.

    That may be, but "Gurab" is just cooler. I also noticed that. Be nice if there was a "we are here" percentage tag on the bar. I really hope all those people asking for the large size dont fade when it comes to putting up money. The larger is the better option I would say. The larger one will be a limited run but the small one will probably be available for a while. And if the large one doesnt meet the minimum order level then the guy has promised to refund.
