  1. The opposite for me, I hated the part in Aliens Colonial Marines where I had to sneak past those alien husks to avoid the King (or whatever he was called again). Give me myriads of enemies, but sneaking and being rushed just annoy me. My fave AVP experience is still that sweet spot in the marine campaign in AVP2, where the game just keeps sending the xenowarriors if you stay there. This is a lot of fun if you have used the cheat code to morph into the predator, and are using the plasma castor with auto-targeting.😁 At the same place there's a box thing you can jump on where they all surround you. It's dark enough that you can actually see the red targeting dots in the visible spectrum and the xenos explode so satisfyingly in clouds of blue plasma. ☺️
  2. I cant get over how much this reboot sucked compared to the classic. All I remember are dubious characters, in neon s&m outfits, who looked more like refugees from a red light district than programs.
  3. Hmmm. Thanks that size seems right 20.32 cm vs 30.48 cm. If I can find some that look convincing... Not in scale maybe, but this excercise has helped me find some cool historical Imperial Trooper figs.
  4. Thats right @tekering I actually have something similar to this in mind:
  5. Thanks again @borgified this is useful. I already see a number of items of interest.
  6. Thanks @borgified I'll look into those. The only one I've heard of so far is Onesixthwarriors.
  7. Waiting for this.😇 https://www.sabaton.net/news/music/announcing-our-new-album-the-war-to-end-all-wars/
  8. "What if the Avengers lost Operation Galactic Storm?", "What if Captain Marvel had not died?" and "What if the Avengers had fought the Kree Skrull War without Rick Jones" were my favouries. It wouldnt be the same unless they revert to the classic Kree costumes.
  9. I'm looking for worthy prey for my 1/6 Predators. Can anyone tell me where can I can find decent 1/6 figs of ANY of the following? Roman Legionary Roman Gladiator Napoleonic French Fusillier Napoleonic British Coldstream Guard World War 2 Russian Soldier World War 2 Wermacht/SS Stormtrooper US Marine/Seals/Army desert or Jungle camo GI Joe Cobra Night-Viper V Visitor Shocktrooper 2000 AD Genetic Infantryman Ah, the cool figs we could have if only releases werent so random. Some stuff just doesnt exist other than as customs.😔
  10. That's a damning indictment of Disney's handling of the franchise. Star Wars was THE movie experience. I've been a huge fan ever since first seeing Star Wars A New Hope on the big screen as a 4 year old, but Disney has all but killed my fanthusiasm with those horrible sequels.
  11. It's appears to be an extremely subtle camo something on the actual model.🧐 It's just my old cellphone camera.
  12. Eaglemoss needs to do the Classic Colonial shuttle to go with the Landram. Hoping for a IL series to go with the Centurions as well. Just received the Eaglemoss USCMC APC. At 20cm its much larger than my tiny Cinemachines version.
  13. I don't doubt that you are technically correct. Its odd given how your average person would interpret the meaning of the name given the data on the file card. If you were to say " I'm collecting a squad of Space Marine Terminators" a 40k fan is not going to think that this is something that kills space marines. They're going to know its a special class of Space Marine armour. This is expecting a bit much from a toy company. The name probably just sounded snazzy to someone with decision making powers. Not giving a damn is why I will never slavishly follow official media. They create excellent concepts with beautiful designs...and then they don't stay true to the spirit of what they have created. Invariably they degenerate it in their desire to milk a franchise for ever more and more money. Enough about semantics. Good luck with the rework. I'm so excited to see the pics when all is done.🙂
  14. That's a rather odd interpretation of that name, as not even the action figure's Matchbox filecard gave them the role of destroying Bioroids. Their Matchbox purpose was supposedly: - to police the onboard clone population, and (I infer) "terminate" malfunctioning clones. - To serve as an elite guard for the Robotech Elders. I dont have much use for that first role. I do however like the idea of them being an elite guard, perhaps comparable to the Royal Guard in Star Wars, who perform specialised roles such as piloting the Bioroid Assault Craft. I always thought (back in the day) that they were called "Bioroid" Terminators because they were not ordinary clones, but rather some kind of advanced artificial beings that somehow fitted into the Bioroid System. The "combat armour worn by Zor soldiers" implies that it's bog standard GI, and the fact that ALL their soldiers aren't then wearing it requires explanation. Their kind of like the Cobra Techno-viper in GI Joe, in that they look great but are "officially" nothing special. This is a total waste. Sadly, wasted potential is often a feature of official media. It looked great before, it looks even better now.
  15. I cant recall them ever being named in the Robotech TV show either, only initially on the Matchbox figure cards. If they are ever done as a toy it would be great if they gave us the on screen colours.
  16. No body? I guess the disembodied head could have made a "King Willy" accessory to go with your Predator 2 figure, but.... ...not with this price tag.
  17. It may not be an Aspect Warrior, a Terminator or a Blood Angel but at least its helmeted.😌
  18. But humans are ok as well if they're wearing their helmets😂 Seriously though, Janeway?🤔 Hell I'd take those too, I loved the Dominion war. But lets not forget the Gorn as well. They have nice ships. Never been able to take them seriously though. OTH a well made Klingon and Jem'heddar would be a nice match-up. Never be as cool as say, an Idiran or Zentraedi soldier figure, but still worth a small spot in the collection.
