If I read sh9000's second last post correctly the 1/48 gurab is a mere 102 mm tall.

Pre-orders are open. Decided to go with a round 10 of the larger Gurabs. The more we order, the better the chances.

Going for two small scouts, two teeny weeny shock troopers and eight oversized properly sized shock troopers. Fans need to preorder multiples of the larger size to make it happen. INVID 209!

Given that no other price is specified I just concluded that it was an economy of scale thing, so the price would be the same for either version. Otherwise he needs to tell us.

Wouldnt it be cool if it was in scale? As in with much smaller valkyries.

So, discussions are apparently underway with the factory re: pricing on the larger scale Gurab. Possibly may have an opening cockpit and/or pilot mini. If there is a cockpit what could one use as Invid Ichor? Hmmm...this is the right colour. Probably not a good idea.

In for at least 2 of each. They're waaay too small to be in scale with anything, but they can still guard my champagne glass as the Christmas table.

I am. I have that short story and its also available as an audio. And since we're doing recommendations, if you can get hold of the following books by Christopher Rowley they are well worth the read: From the Fenrille series From the Vang Series Quite rare as the author has not made digital copies available.

Pre-built, finished toys are another product entirely from kits in my book. (I would also point out that the alien mothership has never been done in any form by anyone AFAIK.) I for one would certainly be interested, depending on quality. Yes and also fit in with the Martians essentially being Giant Brains, and their machines seeming more alive than them. Scot Washburn gives a somewhat different explanation involving the use of telepathy in his Martian Invasion books. Those books are worth reading, particularly as some of it is from the Martian perspective. Aha, I have not read that yet. Thanks. Thank you my good sir.

What kind of products? Toys? 3 D prints? The Martian Fighting machine is one of my all time favourites, but sadly not that version. Due to the biomechanical look this cover image is the closest I have ever seen to what I envisaged from the book, albeit the hood area could use some jazzing up. AYKB a Martian Fighting Machine is not meant to have anything resembling a wheel, yet must be able to move rapidly on its three legs in a manner similar to a "stool bowled violently along the ground." The Fighting Machines and Handling Machines are'nt vehicles as much as giant artificial bodies - given their dexterity I wouldnt be suprised if the control interface was in some way similar to a Bioroid or Gurab A clearer view of the Bioroid Invid Fighter opening cockpit page would be useful.
