    My Double D's

I Looked at the pictures at first with out reading your caption post at the top of the thread and thought nice Hasegawa's Then I looked again !!! WoW
  5. I'm fairly sure what one of them is. a certain eBay item from a few weeks back, but I wont worry too much as if it's anywhere near as good as you most up to date work you'll do it proud.
  6. Thats kinda the direction I was going to go in. I have several Vector based packages including Illustrator and your right for this sort of thing they are the only choice. I have some Laser printer decal sheets and a OKI Colour Laser printer on my desk at work. It can print. 600x1200 dpi True colour so should be great for this. I was gonna put masking tape on to the model/toy and rough sketch on the size and then peal it off and scan it into my Vector software and build on top of the image with nice crisp Vector graphics. Basically the same from there as yourself.
  7. More chance of a Western world release with Bandai involved.
  8. Good news all round
  9. OH DADDY !!!!!
  10. If Bandai made kits they would give Hasegawa a run for their money, If they re-released the VT1 and Super O etc then they would sell a ton, just box em in 25th Ani boxes and we`ll all buy em.
  11. I love the sense of normality you give your pictures, You know the large boat on the kitchen worktop next to the plates with your Daughters bike in the background. Makes us all think we should have one.
  12. Good job. Now go and start your next kit
  13. I have one and as others have said they are not that great. My Joke machine ones are light years better, and not just because they are still all MIB.
  14. Top marks for that I really like this one. I'm interested in your approach to making decals. There are several methods you can use I'm just interested out of curiosity in which one you use.
  15. The company I work at is a bit like that omy departments small office has all sorts of stuff on desks, another office on the floor above me is like a homage to all things cartoon and plastic. one desk even has a life size plastic Kangaroo on it. I will of cause be adding my own stuff soon.
  16. Nice Job
  17. Guess I will be buying it from my friendly USA DVD stockist as it wont be available in the U.K for years
  18. If I'm not mistaken thats a Hasegawa Battroid in IMai/Ari Armor. It is possible to make it fit but a little time consuming.
  19. Whats that sound ?? Ahh its the cash cows being rounded up ready for milking.
  20. YUP! Glen A Larson created a lot of stuff including Knight Rider BSG 80's Buck Rogers AirWolf IIRC also Manimal and maybe Automan too. Im sur someone here can provide a complete list. I love the Stang but I kinda looks like an Evil Alt of the Binaltech WheelJack or Barricades less well off cousin. I'm sure the car will rock even if the rest of the film is a steaming pile of cow products.
  21. Maybe Waffles are what give you the Mutant Gene. If thats the case give me a plate of those babies now.
  22. I agree the version I have is sometimes infuriating the subs cant get "him" and "her" the right way round for a start. Good job I know enough Japanese to ignore them and just listen while only looking at the subs for guidance and such. The first set of Zero I got the subs were mostly good except for stuff like referring to Gasoline as oil and few nonsense sentences, the second set seamed to have fix all the bad syntax etc of the first set but got a whole new load of problems of its own. Proper Fansubs are the way to go. They care and know the subject matter they are translating and are not gonna give you something that was translated from Japanese to Chinese to English via some translator program. If you want an idea as how bad that it go to the google translator and type in a sentence translate it to a different language and then translate the results to another language and then back into English. The results are most amusing.
  23. If the second series is anything like the first then get your order in asap. I was in Tokyo just after the first series dropped and shops sold out really quick. I was in one shop that had them and bought a couple (Zent Hikaru and a CF) just to check em out back at the hotel. Went back over to the shop (across the road from my hotel) and the guy at the till was just selling the whole stock to one guy. They had pre opened several cases to allow people to choose. Strangely there were quite a few Zents and lots of Max and Hikaru. No matter though as the guy bought everything. I then bought every Macross gashapon in the shop weather I had it already or not, just in case he came back for another go. They are lovely little things QC aside I just want to Panelline and weather them and pop them in my display cases.

  25. Yeah back in 1986-88 you could get all the Revel changers kits for pennies here in Blighty. My friends and I had all of them at least once over.
