Dollar is good in the U.K at the mo. the only problem is most goods imported from the U.S.A get converted to £ by just changing the currency sign on the original price making them cost around twice the cost in the U.S. But yeah it doesn't boad well if prices are going up and up.

I hear tell that you can use Iso alcohol and water to thin Tamiya paint with instead of Tamiya thinners Iso is way cheaper than Tamiya. I'm gonna try it as I have a 2 liter can of it and water is free. Looking good though. All experience is relevant.

Fine 1000 or higher and use water with it too. You can use plastic polish but it takes ages and you'll hate the Jetfire as its got so many fiddly bits to polish.

Yup there will be a very large pile of chunks if they do. With the exception of the chunky monkey which wasn't really 100% Bandai and was made in the land that time forgot, all of Bandai's Macross stuff hasn't been very accurate. If they do the same lackluster half assed stuff they did for M7 then they may well kill the whole Macross toy market. They are great at Gundam but I don't think they really think Macross is worth the bother. After all why bother to bring out kits from 20 years ago, when Hasegawa slayed all the competition in that arena years ago. Kinda proves they are not all that committed. I wait and hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for the heads up Cowie I will see if shes interested. Once you try future you'll never go back. First time you airbrush it on you'll think that you did it far to thick leave it to dry for 24 hours at least and you notice it sort of magically dries and leaves a shine but you cant see it. The thing still panel lines and you can put decals on with ease. Even works on protection for toys when you custom them. Also it works well on UPVC windows makes the dullish white plastic all sparkling like it was when you had the windows fitted. Paint it on outside as well and they clean up really easy when dusty and dirty. Oh and did you know you can put in the tiled floor as a floor polish
