Just saw 3 and 4 by far the best preiviews yet. Just in case anyone couldnt get the movies. I have downloaded them and saved them as avi files. razor_flashback_3.zip razor_flashback_4.zip They are around 5 megs each but will play full screen quite nicely -
A friend of mine has a James Bond one as stated here well made and stands up to abuse.

Again they complain about Torrents etc and then they just feed the people just enough to encorage the very thing they would rather they didnt do. Dumb asses I`ll just get the U.S version It`s bound to be cheaper then the U.K one anyhow. -

Ha like I need to say that I love em. Skull -1 and Me and the rest of the Chunky Mafia practically dream about em. My 1/55 mega project will be comming out of the woodwork again soon. Its just so hard to devote time to it im soooooooo busy I now have 7 1/55 projects waiting for the off not including the mega mod. In no particular order an Evil Jetfire, an Enlint a Super O 2 GBP`s a low vis and a Roy Strike, and thats with out breaking into the Boots I have. Just remember when looking for project valks eBay is your friend I`ll probably never buy more but when I have this many to mod who cares all in all I have 13 or 14 I think. The man to ask would be Katanna67 he owns more 1/55`s than everyone here at MW put together.

VF-1S Strike Battroid Valkyrie step-by-step
big F replied to DrunkenMaster2's topic in The Workshop!
I use XF-18 1/3 2/3 XF-8 and a dash of X-10 It looks really good and the X-10 gives it a slight metal look that IMO make it look more real. You can also use XF-50 and mix that with XF-8 that work too. For a total TV look you can use XF-18 and a dash of olive green (forget which number), at the end of the day its up to you. Once you find the colour you like mix a load of it as you`ll want all your future kits to be the same colour, you can store it in an old thinners jar or a small Jam jar or something air tight. -
Yup love it. The dirty used world look is the only real way IMO.

Wow looks good to me. -
Next time Graham needs to take an associate with him he could start a bidding war here on MW and donate the proceeds to charity or something. I can see it now Yamato "Hi Graham how are you " Graham "Not bad thanks" Yamato "whose this you have with you" Graham "Errr !! this is my secretary, hes gonna take some shorthand notes for me" Yamato "Hmmmmm!!! yeah right"

Ive always loved that design. Looks great and I love your display stand too. Great work and thanks for sharing it with us. -
If you check the Arii page on the main web site you`ll see that there were several planned releases of these figures that never made it. Thats why the numbering is so screwy on the boxes. Its a shame they didnt as by the time they did the DYRL Minmay they`d got good at it.

Would probably be my brothers Jetfire. It was the first Macross toy we ever had as kids even when I was 12 back in 1984 Id worked out that Macross and robotech were the same thing and that maybe Transformers had stolen the design. I`d based that on the fact that most of the TF`s didnt loock much like the cartoon characters anyway. I now have an even older Jetfire and its minty white compared to the original one but I love them both. The other one would be my First Yamato which is the Hikaru DYRL 1J. Which I bought on my first trip to Japan so it has lots of memories attached to it.

Mine turned up today. I got the confirmation of shipping Late Tuesday night and it arrived today 2 days not bad considering it came from Philly and made it to the U.K in that time. If MovieTyme can do that at the prices they quote then the highstreet stores just lost my business for good.

As far as painting pannel lines you could use the Tamiya rattle can stuff and them make you pannel line paint from something like Humbrol or another oil based paint. Tamiya is acrylic based and Humbrol is oil based so the white spirit wont affect the Tamiya as much as it would if you tried to remove acrylic based pannel line mistakes and overspills etc. As said by others with rattle cans you want to be putting as little paint on as possible as you`ll quickly fill the really fine pannel lines on the Hasegawa kits. I know this from experience. The only way out then is the Draftsman pencil method of pannel lining. Which isnt so bad anyhow as a method in the first place. Using a flat or semi gloss spray coat after all the painting and pannel lines and weather ing etc is done is your best bet for keeping your work fresh. An air brush would be the best bet in the long run. Even the really cheap sub $30 ones are far better than rattle cans on the small kits and will give you many years of good service. On a 1/55 you can get away with a can as its bigger but thats a whole different area.
