    I think that contest would be a matter of scale. A SDF Macross is 1200 meters long for SDF-1 and longer for subsequent models(battle 13, 25,.etc). How big is The Ark? The Ark, also is a living robot. SDF/Battle are essential giant piloted mecha that lack the articulation of smaller VF scale mecha. Now Macross Quarter? If the Ark was in the 400 meter scale, then it might be a more interesting battle. Twich

    So, I was sent the same email that was posted above about the Animego Macross 2 Kickstarter and I broke down and upgraded to the basic->basic plus artbook for an additional $32 USD. I can not be sure that this will not be the last thing that we get to see as fans of Macross 2, so I thought that this was worth the extra $32. I am looking forward to receiving this, since it wont come out until December 2024, I will probably have forgotten all about it and this will be a welcome surprise! I hope that Bandai or Arcadia sees the interest in this and makes a DX Chogokin VF-2SS Twich

    This discussion seems to remind me of the discussion had with transforming the Bandai DX Chogokin SV-262Hs toy. Still the only Macross jet to give me actual anxiety to transform. I have one of these on pre-order and am remembering the glory days of Yamato’s 1/72 YF-21, then the revised version that came with fast packs and extendo hands/wrists that Yamato included due to feedback.     for infinite Justice Gundam 2.0, it looks like they took an Incom T-65B X-Wing Fighter and attached beam weapons to go in between the engines and the wingtip laser cannons and stuck it to the back of Infinite Justice......I kinda liked the old Green Goblin thing that Justice and Infinite Justice had.....     I have a feeling that this will be in the 25,000-30,000 yen range from Arcadia. Hope it is as easy to get as Bandai’s WWM releases. Twich

    I’m sorry, I had always assumed that the max speed of the VF-1 was below Mach 4, even in space. Am I mistaken? I knew a little about the ramjet being operable in speeds of above Mach 3. I know the boosters on the super packs for the VF-1 have quite a bit of thrust, but limited in fuel capacity. I find it disappointing that so little information is available on the VF-4. Twich

    So, I don’t think this has been answered before, but what is the total thrust that the VF-4A or VF-4G can produce? We know what the Thermo Nuclear Reaction Engines produce, but what about the rockets? What about the Ramjets? The VF is rather unique with all of its engines and sources of thrust. Only the VB-6 comes close with its engines. Does the Variable Fighter Master File even touch on this? Twich

    So, I contributed to this at its most basic level. I guess I was unaware that this would not be arriving in our hands until December 2024. Probably my ignorance of these things, as I had never been on kickstarter before this, but didn’t realize the timeframe. I am super excited that I will get a 4K copy of Macross 2, to go along with my old copy of Animego’s Super Dimension Fortress Macross that they did…… Twich

    I know that Yamato is focusing on their VF-19Kai Fire Valk Sound Booster release, but it sure would be nice for a release on the VF-5000. Twich

    Engine thrust is about 1000kN more in the basic VF-25A then in the basic VF-19A, which is in the 600kN range per engine. 5th Gen has ISC, which the VF-19 and other 4th Gen VF’s don’t have. Twich

    I was aware of the 1/60 scale Evolution Toys VF-2SS effort and also how it was almost universally reviled by almost all. I should have been more specific about wanting a Bandai DX Chogokin VF-2SS, VF-2JA and Metal Siren. Thank You! Twich

    Maybe all of this interest in Macross II Blu-ray/UHD disk release will convince a reputable toy maker that we finally need a 1/60 scale VF-2SS, VF-2JA, Metal Siren toy that we all have been craving since Macross II released on VHS. Twich

    Sorry, I meant delimiter mode. I wonder if there will be durability issues. I had a Yamato VF-22S and accidentally removed a leg and never could get it back on right again. Twich
