    I honestly haven’t taken this show or its horrible writing and directing team seriously at all. When Smilo Ren said he wasn’t exactly a Jedi, I knew that was the end of that conversation. Even though it shouldn’t be. I doubt they’ll hint much more about Sith . Technically he’s everything a Sith would be, just without a name. He even wants an apprentice. Who knows, he may have been trained by bad mom and might be searching for a way to kill her just like a Sith would, but I kinda doubt this show would be that interesting.

    I believe those were Imai kits. That company was way ahead of their time as far as sculpt. It took Bandai another decade or so before they started really looking good

    Yeah, it’s a very stupid show and the reasoning is very awkward and creepy. There’s a lot about this show that could have been better if it was completely reworked and if they could’ve hired better people to write and direct, but I guess they didn’t want to and just followed the Disney fail plan all the way

    Just saw on the U.S. pbandai store that they’re releasing the 1/20 kit as a turbo custom with all the fun accessories

    Honestly, there isn’t a design from that one that I don’t love. Everything from the updated GM’s to the adorable Hygog, I love them all

    It’s been a day of out of place crappy songs on soundtracks. First this one and then the one at the end of today’s episode of the acolyte

    It’s far better than that stupid song at the end of the episode that totally felt way out of place. Although Merciful Fate’s song Into the Coven would’ve been more fun. Honestly, today’s been an odd day of terrible soundtrack choices. First was that out of place song on the Gladiator 2 preview and then this one at the end of the episode. They both were not only bad songs, but just didn’t fit the subjects. It made hearing Beastie Boys on a Star Trek soundtrack seem like a perfect choice

    Yeah, it’s mostly a rehash of an older episode with bits from another perspective. And the parts that were new were really predictable Unfortunately for me , I had to see more screen time for the shaved wookie, but that was mostly stuff from the preview way back before the show started. Definitely not the worst episode of the show, but still a letdown episode. I’m guessing that the next episode might fill us in a bit on what Mae did post fire hole not death scene. I didn’t notice in the corpse pile Not really too eager on a rewatch of this episode though to find out

    Nah, the dude just kept getting shot down or crashing and the crew just had time to do the minimum to keep up with him

    I barely see the connection between this and the old film and totally agree about the “little people “, they’re getting replaced from just about everything these days. Other than Dinklage, the younger generation might not realize they even exist outside of porn. I used to have a movie section where I stacked some dvds and didn’t realize I had my oddball little people section until one of my friends brought up that I had Time Bandits and Willow and Willy Wonka and a couple others next to eachother. I actually really loved Time Bandits and the Adventures of Baron Munchausen. I also loved Brazil and really loved absurd movies like the goofy troma films. As far as modern stuff, that’s probably why I ended up really liking Turbo Kid and Psycho Goreman and Scott Pilgrim

    That song is totally lame. It just doesn’t work at all here, and probably doesn’t work anywhere.

    I stopped using the tube glues years ago due to too many similar incidents. One little stop up and a tiny bit of pressure and the dang thing doesn’t quit spilling out like it had pent up rage and was finally relieving stress by letting its fluids fly, like Homelander on a rooftop after getting humiliated or something. There are other issues with that stuff that I hated, like the unpredictable glue hairs and such. I honestly haven’t found a use for the tube stuff since I switched to the thinner stuff from a bottle. I personally use Plastruct Bondine ABS glue since it not only bonds well for styrene, but also the hard ABS plastic that a lot of gundam parts used for sturdiness. A little dab and it does pretty well. And you can run it down the seams really well to reduce the need for putty. Some people like the Tamiya extra thin , I’m sure just using what works and hasn’t failed me yet , but I really don’t know which is truly the superior product

    They’d probably decide never to play pop music ever again and use their soundboosters to play nothing but techno and industrial, but they’d start a civil war when one faction tries to bring back dubstep and they’d just wipe eachother out.

    For me it’s probably 08th ms team, but I sometimes waffle between that and Stardust Memory. Although 0080 is very close. All three of them are my favorite Gundam things to watch and are far better than any movies or shows or ova’s or whatever

    I wouldn’t say decades, maybe just the last decade. Saw those up last week, but lack the space for many larger kits unfortunately. Maybe when I win the lotto

    These are some of the laziest designs, they just went build fighters and changed a little equipment and a horn here and there. They don’t even deserve newish names. It’s like if they took a Zaku and put the missile pods on the legs and said it was an actual variant that deserves being called something slightly new.

    That sucks. I guess maybe I shouldn’t start the second season. They should have just canceled that Lord of the Rings show. I do like prime for other shows like The Boys and Invincible and Fallout and am looking forward to Warhammer. At least it’s better than D+ even though prime takes too long between seasons

    I haven’t watched the second season yet. The first was super what the hell, but I couldn’t stop watching. For some reason, I just hadn’t been able to get started on the new stuff. Hopefully it doesn’t end with more questions than answers
