    The separation of the gold from the rest of the armor is interesting.

    It ended rather predictably, but not bad. I think they could have done a better wrap up about the bystanders, Bohner and the guy that snuck in through the sewers and Darcy. Maybe they should have cut back a little on the fighting and added a bit more to the closure

    The og Bsg was pretty much a movie pilot, a season worth of episodes and an odd sequel if you count the 80’s stuff. But it really was great for what it was. Too bad bsg is more fun to talk about than bvs. Anyway it seems it won’t be much longer till this Snyder cut of justice league comes out. I probably wouldn’t care if there were real movies coming out, but since it’s free I’ll give it a shot and see if Snyder is the savior of this franchise or just a false prophet.

    Seeing an Orange speaker head is always a pretty good sign that I’ll like the song.

    I win all my fights with a pose off. I just put one hand on my hip and give a half smile and point to the ladies. That usually gives the other guy enough time to think “what the hell” and walk off in confusion.

    Just for fun I thought I would rewatch BvS and justice league and see what this Snyder cut thing is all about. BvS was three hours or so of crap and I’m not sure if a Snyder cut of justice league will really rescue this franchise. I couldn’t watch either one in a single sitting because of how bad these movies are. I still have an hour left of justice league and it’s also trash, but slightly more entertaining even though it makes no sense. I do think a Snyder cut may make sense of some of the stupidity, but I’m not convinced it will be all that much better. At least it will be free to watch and I think that will be the only thing good about it.

    The Pretty Reckless have some fun songs and I’m glad that there’s still newer songs of theirs popping up on the radio.

    The idea of having an army to keep the kids out of trouble sounds like the most likely reason. They even tempted the kids with some of the coolest looking body armor, speeder bikes and even rideable Transformers. Honestly, I can’t imagine a kid turning that down especially if they’re thinking that there’s no chance of getting into a real war. All that adds to the reason the Spartas don’t have a closed cockpit in 2 out of 3 modes. Everything was designed for children to think the military is fun and cool.

    I was just checking that out. On tag hobby it says it’s a web exclusive unfortunately, but I’m still curious about it. Hopefully they found a better way to do the joints than on the last set of dunbine kits Bandai put out years ago. And also hoping they don’t do something weird and try to reuse parts from the old one.

    It’s too bad he passed away before the band became the go to band to put on just about every soundtrack from Maximum Overdrive to the MCU and beyond.

    I’ve been watching Kim’s Convenience with my lady friend and been finding it interesting that the lead males are either in Star Wars or Marvel stuff.

    I guess it would be easier to figure out after the last episode. I guess I’m curious if everything turns out alright in some way for Vision, if they could get an ongoing series of the two characters.

    To be honest, that dull gold looks very realistic in what I would imagine an all gold color robot. In the anime it’s definitely portrayed as a more yellow and shiny color. Metallic yellow is definitely a harder choice though. There aren’t too many paints that come out that great. I’ve been having a rough time trying to get something to look ok on just boring spoons. I need more practice with my airbrush for sure.

    I really like the motivational reveals for the characters in this last episode and hopefully we get more of it before the end. Is this show a one season thing or is it meant to be ongoing? Aside from the really bad first few episodes, it’s become a fun thing to watch and just as fun to watch some of the YouTube breakdowns of all the odd little details

    The Sweet have some great songs and some are surprisingly heavy and fast for the time.

    I think it’s interesting that the G.I. Joe figures will be about the same size as the other newer set, and with scalping may end up similarly priced

    I saw some images of the 1/12 Char, but hadn’t seen any details. It does look pretty good and now I’m wondering if Bandai is mad that they passed up putting that sh figuarts one into production that they teased awhile back. I do also like the little 1/18 one coming out and it will go good with the grunts that I bought. Kinda wondering if the federation pilot set will have a generic female and male pilot to go with Amuro or if they might do white base pilots.

    The moderoids are model kits. I haven’t received my Patlabor stuff since they seem to be shipped by the slowest method ever, but they’re on the way. I did get the Escaflowne, several kits from Obsolete and I used dhl to get ED 209. They do have a good amount of color separation and in some cases pre painted parts, like in the Escaflowne. With the ED 209, since it’s a much larger kit than the others it has ratcheted joints and even includes wires for a more realistic look. The Obsolete kits are the other end of the spectrum and are extremely tiny, but as far as patlabor they should be closer to the old Bandai kit size. The joints on the Patlabor kits do look a little bit toyish, but not too bad. There are decals listed for things like markings, but I haven’t received mine yet to be able to make a comment. So far all the Moderoids I have have very small spots that would need color correction to look accurate if you don’t plan to paint them. They just seem to be smaller details and there are seam lines here and there as well.

    I know Spawn is in the planning stages for another movie, but I personally would be more excited about a really great animated series. The Max also had a pretty good show back in the day, but I’m not sure that one needs a reboot. hopefully this will be a start for a new age of comic book adaptations in animated series format. Especially for characters that don’t come from either DC or Marvel. Some of the Valiant characters would make great animated series as well.

    I’ve been excited for this show for a while now and can’t wait for it. Hopefully it’s a start for a new batch of Image comics characters getting animated. I remember back in the day when we had Wildcats, Savage Dragon and Spawn.

    I always assumed that those were sensor cameras for the sides for a wider field of vision.

    They’re really going all in on these kits. Some of the choices are very surprising to see.

    This episode was designed well. I like that it was a good mix of the sitcom and reality. I think the earlier episodes needed more of this kind of formula
