    Yeah PS 3 has some pretty good cut scenes these days. Too bad Berserk came out on the PS 1

    Have you thought about replacing the hands with something like the ones Bandai has for gundam. The 1/100 scale gundam ones might work for these and the packs have small medium and large hand sizes in them and there are round or square packs

    Man, I grew up on his movies. His films were garbage, but wonderful at the same time. Lots of imagination and reused scenes. I loved those films and laughed at the screen so many times with joy at how much fun and flawed they were. So many of those wait I’ve seen that somewhere before moments and I don’t think I’ve caught them all.

    I’m curious if they would do extra armor or a dedicated kit. They may just do a model with mostly brand new parts for the armor to allow more movement than it would have if just had added armor

    If it were handled by a lesser crew, I’d agree with you. But the team that was handling this adaptation boxed themselves in by being too close to the book. I don’t know how an entire extra season would turn out, but one extra episode either before or after the epilogue would have been all that was needed and I think the people that handled this show could’ve done it well. It’s not like a Disney production that you know is just gonna be totally botched. The screen writers and producers and the directing crew felt more professional than most and there’s been quite a few great shows and movies that have come out in recent years that show that not everything is trash these days, even though there are some bad examples and most of those are obvious from the start rather than the end

    One thing that’s interesting is that there’s something for everyone at the moment. Robotech or actual Macross toys in different scales and price ranges as well as model kits in different styles.

    But if it had an ending, it would’ve probably surpassed the original series. Being too faithful to something like a book isn’t always the best route. Some material works better in different types of media. I’ve never read the book, but for that media it may have been perfect, but for a visual series with so many teases, it just feels like a let down. The book itself was just an adaptation of real life events that strayed pretty far from the source material in some aspects

    The head really doesn’t bother me for some reason. I think the body is the fugly part

    To me the origin of Batman is something that shouldn’t be messed with. It doesn’t matter if it’s shown or just implied, but it’s such an iconic thing about the character that if it’s changed then it may as well be any other character, like Batman beyond or whoever

    I’d probably agree if the show felt finished, but it really doesn’t. But I think another episode or two would have been better than a full season of mostly new characters

    These are the anime magic versions. So they probably have joints in many spots that would probably be tough for a real life transformation. The outward swing of the hips would be very tough to do realistically where the intakes and nosecone would be. personally, it doesn’t matter much to me since this is designed to replicate poses from the anime that aren’t exactly possible in a real world design without a lot of redesigns

    Honestly, I wasn’t sure if it was the right term since it has a fuselage instead of abs and with everything going on with Boeing lately, it may have been a bad choice, but it’s the term that popped in my head at the time

    It definitely be an odd show with most of the cast being killed off in the first season

    Not sure if this is an odd message relating to this movie or if it’s time to clean out Tony’s closetgotta recycle his armor or is he begging to be a recycled character?

    I’d love to see that video. I’ve been curious about how much knee bend there is on the VF-1 . I see that the hips and shoulders got a lot of love and those are usually my main concerns, but the upper body movement would be nice to see as well

    Seems that a second season is coming. Maybe we finally get that battle after all. Either that or another season of being teased without a payoff

    I personally prefer subtitles, but in anime with fast action, I kinda like the option of a dub so I don’t miss anything. But if the option is no dub or complete cringe dub, then I’d rather just read it

    It’s not connected to the old series at all. It has too many differences. Although since all these comic things think we all love multiverses, there could be an odd cringy crossover

    I’m personally a bit tired of Harley being in everything. But having Harley with no attachment to the Joker is just weird. Hopefully things don’t just end up stupid and the show ends up good.
