I thought the wings requiring support in battroid mode may drop the price after release, but since most people like the VF-19 that much, they won't care too much and would just keep it in fighter mode.

The figther proportions of Bandai is definitely inferior to Yamato, but their battroids look a little bit more balanced, except for the exposed thigh joint. The Glaug is HUGE.

Toynami's proportions may be bad, but I like how they all have their own custom color GBP, just like in one of the stages of the Playstation DYRL side scroller game.

YF-25 Rion toy please. I am actually quite surprised that SRW would take in a game original title into the game. But then does that mean they could have an excuse to put in the cast from SDF Macross to M7 as well? The funny thing is that M30 was pretty much an SRW styled merged story as well, but then maybe they are just adding Rion in and the M30 plot maybe just be a mini tie-in to the Frontier part without the historical cameos.

There was a Max VF-1S on Mandarake, but it was only shown on the Japanese page. Mandarake did say there will be items purely for Japanese customers, but I am not sure how they decide on that.

Anime Export has the tiny 1/5000 SDF Macross. I wish the 1/2000 will reappear in some form in the future. My rule is that ships must be at least 40-70cm long to be considered for purchase.

After some thought, I realised that the Super Pack is more lineart accurate than the Armored Pack. The Armored Pack appears to be too bulky compared to the lineart, but it couldn't really be helped, unless they were non detachable parts, like the VF 100's Alto Armor, which had good thickness for its legs.

I was comparing the Yamato 1/60 VF-0 with the VF-1 V2, and found the similarities with the collar design and body width. The Arcadia VF-0 has certainly fixed it up to look more like the CG model and lineart. If Arcadia were to design a new VF-1, they could easily adopt the same construction as the VF-0, but not too sure whether the cockpit nose retraction could be the same.

The funny thing is that DYRL GBP looks the same as TV Hikaru VF-1J + GBP, and this is okay since VF-1J Hikaru never existed in DYRL as Hikaru had a VF-1A.

That is an unrealistic estimate. They will most likely revise it and ask for your authorisation to go along with it when it ships. It has happened to be before with a heavy book.

Looks like they're trying too hard to make this new VF-0A Shin look different from Yamato's one by lightening the color scheme. I won't be surprised if Focker's become darker.

Wow, so NY officially has the lowest prices. I will actually be in Japan in late August, so maybe I could get one from there and save the EMS shipping by bringing it onto the plane. Hopefully I could get one for 30k yen +8% tax. Well, that only saves like 1000 yen, so it won't be worth carrying a heavy toy around the airport.

There seems to be a prequel episode(7th) on the Anti UN War, with Focker flying his VF-1S fighting a SV-51 sigma. What other episode 0 stories are there in this manga expanded adaptation?

Does anyone have the exact packed shipping weight for the VF-0D(1 or 2 units)? Alternatively, the EMS yen charged from HLJ or any other store. Anime Export has it for a low price and I hope for decent shipping also.

My local dealer is selling it for 366 AUD(34700 yen) including domestic shipping, same price as what i got the VF-0D for. I remembered I got the VF-0D for way lower than HLJ+ EMS, but now it appears to be the same as HLJ if EMS is 3000 ish. Oh no wonder, the aussie dollar went up, so that's why.

I would prefer a VF-0A that is darker. Though, it may be a risk waiting for a proper 'cannon fodder" color.
