  1. Yup, the WRX is going sedan only. Subie does have a turbo wagon coming called the Levorg, it's more wagony than the outgoing WRX Hatch, but the specs look pretty good. http://jalopnik.com/the-subaru-levorg-is-a-hot-turbocharged-wagon-with-a-go-1467926164
  2. Nicely done, why they don't make these like the gundam/armor girl figures, I will never know. What'd be great would be changeable faces for different moods. I also think the leg armor should be just a little bit bigger, but it currently works, I see the style you are going for.
  3. I like this idea. I would buy one to go with my Isamu YF-29. Bandai hasn't milked the Vf-27 mold much at all.
  4. Will do, though I am waiting for Vf-17S coming in from another member.
  5. Just picked these two up from the post office. Merry late Christmas to me!
  6. Just about to post that NY had them in stock. Mine is already on it's way, from a different website. They were the last site I could find pre-orders available. I ended up paying $190 before shipping. Oh well, I really want one and wasn't sure if any would be available after launch. Time to preorder super packs to be complete!
  7. I was very tempted to buy that zoid, because it came already done out of the box, but like GU-11, no where yo display that work of art. You guys pulling in these great deals on VF-22 Gamlins make me want to search for one to complete the Macross 7 VF-22 trifecta! I have some items incoming, pics coming soon.
  8. I will also back up what everyone has said about the Mazda 3. Below is my 2010 Mazda 3 hatch. I get 22-25 mpg depending on how spirited I drive; this in a city environment with a lot of stop and go traffic. Stock it has nice handling and good power compared to other vehicles in it's class. I have just recently put on BC coilovers and Black powder coated RX-8 wheels as you can see. I have not driven a SkyActive 3, so I cannot comment on that. I am currently contemplating a WRX hatch or waiting for the next gen Mazdaspeed 3. The current rumor is turbo with AWD. I hope that is true, it will fill the void as the WRX hatch has been discontinued.
  9. Left and right. I am not sure if it is canon, but I believe the strike cannons had a limited traverse in the PS2 and PS3 games.
  10. To get back to ikaru, my gunpod seems loose; as in when I extend the handle it doesn't seem to lock in place like I remember the Yamatos did. I will have to check it out, might need to split it open. In other wants, Arcadia, if you could make the strike cannon able to swival on your strike pack that would be much appreciated.
  11. My current display shelf is the top of my dresser. It also doubles as storage for items. I will one day have display shelves for all my pretties that are forced to remain inside of their boxes, in a closet due to lack of space. I rotate the toys as the whim hits me, or what comes in. The Hikaru is the new Arcadia 1/60, just picked up today from the post office, with Yamato Strike Packs to make the figure complete. I think I am going to disassemble the Lego Gunship and finally unbox the VF-4 or a VF-25A with Michael Super Parts.
  12. Just had to post a picture of mine, just picked him up today from the post office. I live on Guam, so packages from Japan only take a day or two to get here. Slapped on the Yamato Strike Packs, he was just nekkid without them. My best attempt at a DYRL light up Boddole Zer pose. Apologizes for the poor lighting and camera phone quality. Overall I am very happy with him, I can't tell if my skulls are crooked, they look fine to me. Haven't handled a VF-1 toy in about 5 years, but the transformation is so simple and straightforward, I will probably be able to transform it when I am old and senile.
  13. I suppose two less bombs will give that much more range? Every pound counts on an airplane. Saw this link on one of my favorite car sites, jalopnik.com, good read on Japan's stealth aircraft development. http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/a-brief-history-of-asian-stealth-so-far-part-1-japan-1487743275
  14. I though so too, but a couple just came down to Guam for a recent small exercise. They were Marine EA-6s though; wikipedia shows the majority of the carrier based EA-6 squadrons have converted over to EA-18s but there are a couple that have not yet.
  15. I already have the movies, but I will support by buying English sub versions. I hope this leads to more English subbed Macross.
  16. strongarm is a good choice. if you are looking for a bit of variety, check out the rough cut, a nerf shotgun, kind of, or the firestrike, nerf pistol with a aiming light
  17. Toplessrobot.com is a nerd culture website, they did feature this cake on the site. Check it out. Author of the article must have confused something.
  18. Well, got called in for OT at work, looks like I will soon be the owner of a Yamato VF-17S and super packs!
  19. I concur with all of this. I have just begun to sand and file my pieces.
  20. I'm still hemming and hawing over ordering a VF17S and armor from hkcollectibles. Hopefully they will still be available after Christmas.
  21. It was just to the right of what I assume is the main entrance to Nakano Broadway. Just right of the entrance from the picture below. When I got out of the JR Nakano station and walked up the street/alley that leads up to Nakano Broadway. It was more a bunch of display cases along the wall on the right side with a cash register and a cute girl in maid cosplay running the stand. Sorry, I didn't think to take pictures of her at the time. I didn't see the display until me and my buddy were on our way out and the vintage 1/55 Super O caught my eye.
  22. I don't think they put alot of the stuff they have in the stores online, well macross stuff anyway. The Akihabara store had just as many Bandai Renewals as well as Version 1.0 valks as well as Yamato 1/60s, including a VF-4G for about $450. I was tempted the pick up both, but I didn't want loose valks.
