I believe the "with pilot" listings were an incentive to pre-order, now that it's been released, it makes sense there won't be listings with pilot and the pilot will need to be purchased separately.

That one gets rid of the crazy-sized Legioss that looks like it's half buried in the ground.

The bummer of the Hi-Metal R is that they had the foresight of knowing they would do the sound booster and knowing how Yamato came up short on it and instead decided to cheap it out and reuse their old sound booster (so it appears) with different clips. If they do a DX VF-19 like they teased, I sure hope they put more thought into how the two will connect but after the DX YF-21, I have my doubts.

The computer and electronics super geek thread
jenius replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I was shopping for Taycans for a bit also, love them, then got a company car so no need to buy anything on my own. I'm going to hold off until black Friday to build my next computer, really hoping GPU stock is in better shape then. I have a 4090 in my gaming build and might just replace it with a 5080 and use the 4090 in my photo/movie rig. -
First, glad the site has been helpful, I'm still trying to plug away at it. You are correct, there are no special attachment pieces that would make the AX ghosts work with previous releases. I'm not sure if you could make it work with the attachment pieces that came with the previous ghost release... maybe someone else has tried that.

Makes more sense if she's asking what beauty is though. -
OOof, that's a heck of a connector piece.

Thank you for explaining this. I checked out the auction assuming it was a 1/48 conversion and was surprised when I looked a little closer. A fun little bit of history.

Very impressive! Is there a difference between the two Hikaru VF-1J? I think I need the cannon fodder and max individual and (of course) the super 1S but don't expect I'll ever get that one.

I thought the Frontier movies were missed opportunities the first time I watched them. I would have much preferred them do a two hour long movie that started a little further ahead in the timeline like DYRL. Curious to see how I'll feel after another viewing. I've made it through Zero, then watched the 4K DYRL DVD, it's onto Plus and then Seven.

Nope! Apparently, not their cup of tea.

LOL, a virgin road reissue? That's a LLLLLLLLLLLLLLong shot

I was just watching DYRL wondering why no one ever made the cannon fodder Qrau and boom, here it is!

1:28 is the B2Five scale so that must be the Pose+. 1/48 isn't that bad, sentinel did a great job with it. Sadly, 1/60 would be too small.

They ship with Fedex if you buy direct, is that impacted? Roy is on boats already for other stores.

I'm looking forward to diving in but it's going to have to wait until the ThreeZero Roy review wraps up. I had just started that review when this arrived and i can tell this review is going to take some time and undivided attention.

The thighs would be easy to make four pieces with the seams on the side like they do on the Scopedog. The center of the thigh should be one piece and the sides should be another. The knee can be molded as one piece like a toy ring with pegs that go into the lower leg. Then they could use that same trick on the lower leg that I mentioned on the thigh for everything beneath the knee. Maybe they would need two very small seams on the side of the lower leg above and below the side panel but that's nothing compared to the giant seam down the front. If there's no mechanism needed in the lower leg, it seems like getting rid of that seam would have only cost them a few additional parts.

Yep!

They're cheaping out on those legs so bad. It couldn't take that many more parts to get rid of the big seam down the front.
