    They were done under WonderFest licenses, one day limited use. I thinks it would be safe to say they wouldn't be able to do a regular release of they put out Robotech merchandise.

    I thought the first episode was very off-putting but that it did gain momentum after that until the end mid point... where it promptly fell apart.

    Ooh, just in time for the SDCC Robotech panel... but still too soon for anything substantive.

    She may be 3 chronologically but she is an adult so nothing needs to be too creepy. She clearly doesn't have mental faculties or physical attributes of a 3 year old... it's kind of the Android thing. I'd say Frontier had a hard time portraying Galaxy well but it was less of a sin because Galaxy was a shadowy bad guy working behind the scenes. Delta tried to put Roid front and center but it felt like they were just making up his ambitions and motivations as they went.

    The benefit to being a smaller shop is that you can be more reactive to customer demand and do smaller production runs since what you want to do isn't competing against a million other projects a thousand other employees think would make more money. So, I wouldn't say it'd be funny, I'd say it may well be likely.

    I think the Macross license being contested makes the manufacturers and licensors less tolerant. If this is an upacaled HMR it could be cool... though there seems to still be no agreement on how big this thing should be in 1/60 scale.

    The DYRL theme is kinda dumb in hindsight... they should all have black heat shields and black jolly roger emblems on the fast packs. It makes more sense off the example Roy set AND it would have been a win for the toy manufacturers. That said, the larger problem with the DYRL paint schemes is that there isn't a lot of trim making them stand apart from each other so I get the decision.

    I watched the first 4 episodes of Castlevania the other night... it's... not awful. It starts really awkward with a sort of unbelievable scene of Dracula being courted by the most progressive woman ever. They could have skipped that scene entirely and jumped right to the moment where Dracula gets very angry. It also vilifies the church in over-the-top ways that work less well than just having the church be manipulative. Like, instead of all priests being swordsmen and archers, they should have just portrayed them as getting the townspeople to do their bidding with maybe one or two priests also knowing how to use a weapon. Some of the other faults could probably just be chalked up to being homages to the video game... like huge falls, ground that has clearly been walked on by others suddenly collapsing... over and over again... etc.

    If you have to ask, you shouldn't spend the money on premium.

    I think it should have had a flip top lid, been black on the interior, and featured text color that matched the trim (red for Hikaru, Yellow for Focker).

    It's still a ways off, there's hope all will reopen preorders as we get closer to release and the retailers feel better about their quantities.

    The big killer is where the guns meet the body. That area should be flat... that's the charm of the TV design, it's a big flat surface on top.

    While the SD VF-1 isn't very good in fighter mode and has like no articulation in "guardian", it's not awful. Looks decent enough.

    they should focus on their super deformed GBP accessory. That would make a very cute display piece.

    Frontier was awesome... though I'm not a fan of the movies. Delta has some interesting bits but was sloppy in execution. There's a good chance a movie version of Delta could improve it substantially. I think they should do 2 movies with the first being the original war on Windermere and ending with the bomb drop. They can slip in the idea of a combined air show and concert, the pc ruins, the communication from Megaroad 1, and tease the Mikumo plot (may require some chronology resampling). Then movie 2 is Windermere's revival and an established Walkure defeating them. Movie 1 gives us Svards vs VF22 and others... would be fun. Maybe young Arad kicking butt.

    I don't know that this will appreciate... I think it will go down for a while before it goes up. You can still find the regular version easily and it will probably be available for less than the kit soon.

    Does that mean it's shipping? I only bought the exclusive one... not sure if I can also spring for a regular release.

    Maybe they'll include the battle damage parts or the glow in the dark stickers.

    I think it only means that if you were hoping for some reason Bandai would scale theirs down to 1/3000 then that is definitely not going to happen. I would say the odds on the Bandai version still favor "vaporware" above anything else.

    I've fixed my 0A multiple times now too... I also wonder what they did to make the 0S work or why we've seen fewer failures on the 0D. I can get my 0A leg to stay on pretty well with the YetiStand nub but the hip is pretty loose. The original nub needs to be handled gingerly and eventually fails. Honestly, I don't understand this kit release at all. What is the market for this?

    I would love to get an Arcadia reissue of the DYRL SDF-1 (and love a TV version even more). If it is a DYRL reissue I hope it's got a better box. That cheap crap box on the first one didn't even seem to fit the contents... yuck. C'mon Arcadia, give us a nice, solid box, maybe even a flip-top lid. I wonder why no Max mentioned in the teaser? Aren't we supposed to get him in December? LOLz, it's probably "Miria Premium Version" that will be on display... Are we finally going to get a release date on the Garland?

    This might be a repeat post but here's my dream scenario for Hi-Metal R DYRL Max and Hikaru variants: 1) Ditch the smooth wings that don't have hardpoints 2) Instead, include hardpoint wings with both skull 001 and other appropriate number 3) include both 1S and 1A heads I hope they then make Kakizaki DYRL 1A, TV 1A, and Max TV 1A Tamashii exclusives just so they actually get released.
