Did Hibiki ever pilot Nexx's valk?
-
I think that was Arcadia's plan, not sure if Bandai derailed that. The price differential is pretty silly and Bandai already teased a GBP.

Does anyone need a Max 1S? I have one I won't need in a few weeks... Just bought it for a photo shoot with the q rau. -
Did you watch my installation video? I'd link to it but I'm on a phone.

You're looking at it all wrong, you got a bonus point of articulation!

Don't forget we're getting the 35th paint scheme! I think the Bandai announcement caused Arcadia to reconsider more reissues... Hope I'm wrong though.

Arcadia Premium Finish Max and Miria 1/60 Super VF-1J
jenius replied to davidwhangchoi's topic in Toys
It's not mold degradation, as I recall, Arcadia referenced the hardpoint 'improvement' as one of the tweaks to Miria to explain why they delayed her release. -
Don't stare at it! Otherwise you're drilling in a pin or something.

Arcadia Premium Finish Max and Miria 1/60 Super VF-1J
jenius replied to davidwhangchoi's topic in Toys
The thing that confuses me most is that the hard points, other than the occasional breakage on the Yamato, were never problematic in the sense that Arcadia should have been trying to make them tighter. If anything, Arcadia should have been trying to make the missiles easier to put on and take off to alleviate the occasional breakage seen on the Yamato. I'm definitely not putting the reaction missiles on my PFs and that's a shame. -
Arcadia Premium Finish Max and Miria 1/60 Super VF-1J
jenius replied to davidwhangchoi's topic in Toys
So we had a debate about hard points previously. I have acquired Yamato V2 Max & Miria toys and the Arcadia releases. I just put reaction missiles on my Arcadia Max for the first time, as I twisted the missile into position the hard point popped off. The Yamato toys have both handled their reaction missiles without issue. Arcadia really might have made things worse by trying to tighten up the tolerances. Fortunately, a dot of glue ought to solve everything (in fact, it fits so tight it stays in with the missiles without the glue but falls off when the missiles are touched)... pretty lame. -
There was clearly a problem, not a decision to be daft.

Yes, if you can get a picture of the inside lid, that's the best way to judge.

You wouldn't be able to tell from the box, it was only issued once as a 1.0 and at least four other times in the same box with the improvements.

Vf27 gun isn't taller than the vf27. Oops, what he said.

So they introduced a gay character and you told your kids they couldn't watch the show any more? Never... Ever... Let them go to college.

Is this maybe an Aegis Focker scheme? I'm not very familiar with the video games...

So are you saying you're upset because you preordered three FB2012 schemes and you would have just gotten one if you knew these were coming?

I have a NES Mini and a SNES mini but I have no desire to get a Playstation mini. I think playing Star Fox on the SNES Mini was such a painful reminder of the early adoption of 3D. The reason SNES and NES Minis work are the 2D games. The Playstation/Saturn years are the video game industry's "awkward" period. It's fun to revisit childhood, it's fun to revisit early adulthood, but I'm not going to pay for the opportunity to experience the awkward in-between stage.

It also makes sense in case people love the look and want to buy one set for each of their vf31 toys.

Yes, there is evidence, Yamato tried and failed, then Bandai started down that line before they were abruptly shut down. Companies who get a BW license are forbidden from pursuing international distribution under any name.

If they were serious about doing it as a DX it makes your point about limiting Arcadias avenues even more valid. That said, a DX VF-19Kai would not be a simple repaint of a VF-19Advance or YF-19 so how serious Bandai is of going down that road remains to be seen.
-
Bandai hasn't done any teasing of a VF-19 HMR. They teased a DX VF-19 but it was a 3D print and paint, not something that looked like they were seriously working on.

If I hadn't preordered one already, I'd definitely preorder one now. Backpack sits a little high in battloid but that's a minor quibble.
