That's not mold degradation... it's a choice... a very poor choice:
-
I bet that is the next release.

Bandai did well on the vf31 do they might pull it off the first time.

First release syndrome.

I was thinking, it's funny, this will probably be the worst release QC wise, and we all kinda know that, but we're all still tripping over ourselves to get one.

From what I understand, ET was founded by a couple former CM's employees. Like a much smaller version of Yamato then Arcadia.

It was back when battroids were made to look like beefy armor... Before people started reasoning the tech was so advanced they could look scrawny or bug like and still be tough.

I'm much more eager for you to give me a math lesson on how your reading of that sentence could have ever been the correct reading? If you know the math doesn't work, so you know you've misunderstood, it should be pretty easy to grasp what the correct meaning was, even if you didn't agree with the sentence structure.

I'm also hopeful here, and since they're a small shop, they might be able to go nuts in repaints like they did for the SD toys.

We're all just spoiled by Tenjin's masterpieces on every Hi-Metal R box (or Obari's masterpieces on the VF-2SS boxes).

I suspect articulation and all aspects of handling the toy will be improved. The Yamato is pretty gangly in the hands, especially as it aged, But yes, if you don't handle the toy much (and most of us don't) there isn't a huge issue with the Yamato that appears to have been addressed from a strictly visual standpoint.

Most popular? Uhhhh... You're going to have to have a pretty creative definition of 'popular' since the VF-1 is inspired by the universally adored F-14 and is iconic in its own right. Folks that see a pic of the VF-4 might say "that looks cool" before many other designs but 'most popular' seems a stretch.

Looks great!

So will they ship together (meaning we wait for both to get releases) or separate?

I visited my friend recently who repairs and collects old arcade games. He has a Dragon's Lair and we played it for a bit..... sooooooooooooo hard. He left the quarter receptacles completely beat up rather than restoring them because he likes to think about all the thoroughly frustrated kids slamming quarters in trying to get further in the game. I think that's the first time I've ever seen Viewpoint. That same buddy has a bunch of NeoGeo cabinets, next time I'm there I'll look for that one because it does look really cool.

That may be a trailer that gives too much away.

Honestly, I think it will go with all valks pretty well. High contrast with the white ones.

I was hoping they would do a couple brighter schemes but those are looking good.

You probably have some time. We'll probably see painted prototypes at a show first, then POs.

Ha, while interesting, I don't think that would make the error more embarrassing. It is very curious how this happened though. I imagine a conversation like "hey, make a pilot figure for the guy from MacrossII." Then a preproduction sample comes in and everyone smacks their foreheads and is told it would cost too much to fix the glitch so they just shrug.
