Make sure you're putting in the right pieces, they are left and right specific and messing that up significantly ups the difficulty... Even so, it's a tough spot, you can get the legs in position then lift the shoulders, put in the parts, and put the shoulders back down.

Yeah, that's brutal the first time. I just pryed it up with my nails and took breaks when it hurt or was getting scary until it popped free.

Is there any way to track the shipping from them? I never got an email but it says shipped on their website.

There is a bubble in the plastic lid, it looks like the issues with the head lasers come from being placed inside the box with the laser up. They probably figured slapping the lid on top would just press the laser down into the right position and this wasn't always the case.

It's beautiful but since it doesn't transform, why put the big door under the shoulder sensor? It's never there in the line art and that's a particularly big door. It feels like a sentimental nod to Gakken... Being a toy guy, I do like that.

Maybe we'll get some heroic Chuck moments to warrant a DX release. New mission packs for the main fighters seem like an obvious low investment upgrade. How about some 31A moments and variations? If they explore the past there's that other SV also. -

What makes the 1/55 durable is it's simplicity. It has very limited articulation and basic transformation mechanisms in a large enough platform.

I feel kind of obligated to do it for my site but I've often wondered the same thing. At least this one is a step up from the 30th anniversario. My only thought is that BW strong arms producers into this. Like, it's in the contract that says they have to produce commemorative paint schemes because I can't figure out a reason why they would ever do this ahead of something like a VF-1D reissue.

It's about the same size as a VF-31 toy and those are phenomenal. This has a less crazy paint scheme so less chipping concerns. I would say, most indications are that this thing will handle transformation like a champ.

My biggest beef with the arms in fighter mode is that the shoulder doesn't sit flush with the chest section in front of it. Given the reshaped shoulder, the Dark Legioss may be an even graver offender.

It's a factor of how much someone is willing to spend for an exclusive license. For smaller niches, it may work out that they seem exclusive because the few companies involved would like as little competition as possible.

Is that a bunch of grease or residue in there of some sort? I think I've heard people complains about cracks in that region before.
