I switch to CDJ because NY started taking forever to ship and now CDJ is slow and steady while NY is on top of it.

The only way I think there would be a problem is if another existing company thought it would cause confusion to the customer and they would buy the wrong company's product. That clearly won't happen here.

It looks like they are using this to release a gray VF-1S which is the opposite of what Takatoku did. For Takatoku, the individual VF-1S was gray and you needed to buy the gift-set if you wanted a white one. Still, super clever on their part... I wouldn't be surprised if the GBP-1S gift-set is next.

I felt like this show should have gone international with different groups and spins each time, only connected by the other dimension. I liked season 2 but I'm worried about all the trips to the same well.

Everything they've ever had at wonder con has also gone to SDCC so it would shock me if it didn't.

Instant love here, I'll grab it at SDCC.

I switched to them because they were consistently getting things out same day but I feel like my last three orders all had delays of a couple days to a week.

I ordered mine through CDJ... I suspect they're going to make me wait a bit... seems like they've been a little slower the last few months.

It seemed like the Origin line died as soon as BigWest put the kibosh on the Western distribution deal Bandai was working on.

Picture request, does anyone happen to own the Red Shoulder Oddon Equipment Set (from Roots of Ambition)? I have the gift-set but it doesn't come with the stand alone box so I would like to find some higher resolution photos of that box so some day I can include them on my site.

It looks like an adapter from the old Launch Arm type to the basic Arcaida stand that was sold previously.

Let's count the fails: 1) Retail green Scopedog foot broken. Sent to ThreeZero for repair 2) Scopedog returned to me with right arm broken off 3) Replacement green Scopedog broken at the waist 4) Melquiya Scopedog broken at foot just like item 1 So, I would say out of the 5 Scopedogs I've had (counting the first one twice since it was shipped away and came back), I have had 4 suffer catastrophic failures. Now, my repair on the Melquiya turned out FAR better than I would ever hope, and the repair on the green Scopedog's waist seems like it will hold up really well, so at the end of the day, things could be a whole lot worse. I have to say, the engineering of the toy is actually quite nice. It all boils down to materials and manufacturing. I suspect the foot is breaking because: A) That piece, like the shoulder and waist pieces SHOULD be metal B) It might be getting screwed down too tight Since I've had to take my toys apart more than most, I will say I am completely spoiled by the Yamato Scopedogs. Their assembly is phenomenal. The fact it can all be popped apart and reveals more details as you dig down is so neat... and though I've never had to repair one, it really seems like any repair would be very easily done. Yeah, they could have done the feet/ankles better to make the toy more stable, but otherwise that toy sets a standard for me on how toys should be built. In contrast, the ThreeZero adds modern articulation improvements (including the WAY better hands), and that amazing paint job, but the thing is glued together head-to-toe. There were some places that are screwed together, and when you remove the screws nothing happens because the part is also glued together at some other step in the manufacturing process. Not a fan.

The only reason I'm hoping for a PF is so I can have one with the fixed hip... well, other than the hip I fixed and re-fixed several times. I think it's pretty good now but I will forever having some surgery scars on the back of the leg.
-
On the hips, extending them is probably good, but it's rotating them, even when not extended, from GERWALK position to battroid where I had both mine fall off. If you can rotate them then I don't think the extension mechanism will be a problem.
-
There is no ensuring... You just need to hope. It's a manufacture issue, not a user one.

My son is six, he liked Pokemon and Beyblade but has zero interest in anything from the 80s (and he seems to be over Pokemon and Beyblade so I'm curious to see what will be the next big thing). Everybody's different. Growing up I had an older sibling so I think I was watching more mature shows sooner because that's what was on. I tried to get my son to watch Transformers, even the kiddified versions, and he was not a fan. "That's your thing dad, not mine!"

The BD set is getting pretty bad reviews on Amazon... someone even said it's worse than the ammo set release which is a huge bummer. My review of the ThreeZero Melkia is up on anymoon.com! I may add a few photos later tonight. You can also see the video here:

I'm getting one. I'll probably do a full video review.

Stores usually state their policy in this somewhere on the website. If you purchase from them, you're agreeing to their terms. If you then choose to violate their terms, say, by forcing a refund through PayPal, then you should view that as a nuclear option that will end your relationship.
-
The big plus is the eye insignia on the fast packs. It's only in DYRL for a second and it's drawn pretty funky in comparison to the final line art the toys are based on.

It looks better than Prince of Persia The Sands of Time... -
Just opened my threezero Melkia Scopedog. I ordered the deluxe version but my retailer told me they couldn't get it and gave me a refund and a retail version. I love the look of these toys... but the first time I stood up the melkia it was obvious it had a foot problem. Sure enough, on close inspection, the foot was cracked in EXACTLY the same way as my first retail green Scopedog. When I tried to get a better look at the crack the foot fell off entirely. $450 and this company still can't afford metal joints.

I went with BiginJapan this time around... cheaped out on the shipping since I'm not terribly excited about the armor...
