For sure. I'm just curious if anyone knows WHEN that went into effect. Before or during the launch of the Megaroad-01 or afterwards..

So i see the chest emblem, (and possibly Mecha emblem?) for the Zentradi in SW1 (and thereafter) who joined the Unified Forces changed. Is it safe to assume that the Zentradi forces who accompanied Megaroad-01 started that emblem change? Or did that change go into effect sometime after the launch of the Megaroad-01 ?

Ok, thanks guys. Maybe "Pitfall" in the VFMF has some explanation ..🤷 otherwise, it's more like "because we can.." -
One wonders if they had the means to produce the VF-5000, VF- 3000 and the VF-9. I doubt it. They would've needed a retooled factory satellite. If they did have one in tow, they could have done many things, including advanced mods on the VF-4's.

Another little update. I managed to finish the gunpod, but the darker gray jagged markings didn't come out as dark as they should have. I will more than likely do a few dark washes over them. And though the gunpod won't be as visible, I would still like to mount it under the main fuselage and position the UUM-7's next to the RMS-1's. Which will require shaving down the pylon mounts a bit. I've also finally just started working on the pilot. Thanks for beaming in. See you Space Cowboys next deculture💫

I see. I understand the VF-4 has mostly been seen loaded with a gunpod from the modelers sector (I'm guilty too!) . And, though the VFMF is not official, it's interesting to note that there are a few depictions of VF-4's carrying duel gunpods(one under each wing) , in an atmospheric setting. Also ,there's another depiction (operation Pitfall?) showing the same but outside planetary atmosphere and definitely in space. Those VF-4's also have fast packs loaded upon them. I'm just curious to know what special operations, conditions or circumstances would require a duelee set up. -
This was an easy pass for me. Considering all the VF/YF-19 toys and models (built and unbuilt) I already have. And the proportions don't look great to me. Though I'm sure many are going to enjoy this kit.

Awesomeness! That VF-11 looks clean. Wow, VF-1 done gone and yellowed.. Sounds like you're going to give it the full treatment 👍🏼 Sweet

Regarding the load outs for the VF-4 . I see in the Variable Fighter Master File that the VF-4 is sometimes equipped with dual gunpods. One on each wing. Does anyone know under what circumstances this would be the case, other than "because we can..". And , for that matter, under what circumstances would be necessary to even have one gunpod mounted. For the one, I'm assuming more intense and close range combat. But for two..? -
This is gonna be cool ! looking forward to seeing more, @Urashiman ! Those look pretty good !

IMO they may serve the same purpose, as in hangar, maintenance and launch bays, etc. But I don't think we Know if they are detachable. And can perform independently.

Looks awesome @arbit ! welcome back into the light @Kurt ! Your customs are legendary! Great job on the GP Moving right along nicely @Urashiman 👍🏼 Here's a little update on my Megaroad-01 VF-4 Enigma. Still need to finish the pilot. I have the load out pretty much figured out. Gunpod is almost done, a little more masking and paint and decals. Using these Bandai Super Parts set, i think the UUM-7 missile packs are a tad big, compared to others, such as Wave and Hasegawa. I originally wanted to position the UUM-7's on the inner wing , and have the gunpod alongside the AMM-1 cluster underneath the main fuselage. But the UUM-7's were crowding the thruster/leg stabilizers too much. So , as of now, the gunpod is being mounted to the the port side inner wing. Beside the RMS-1. Personally, i think it's better positioned underneath the fuselage. Most times a gunpod is mounted the the wing(on the VF-4) it's a symmetrical set up , with an additional gunpod on the other wing (that's an idea..) I may shave down the pylon mounts, so the armaments are more snug to the underside. In which case i may yet have the room I want to rearrange the load out to my preference. Any who, here's a few pics of where she's at.. See you Space Cowboys next Deculture 👍🏼
