I can't even name 10 that 'met my expectations', but I'll add a few
2- Macross (TV/FB/DYRL - I see them as a single entity)
3- Chrno Crusade
4- Rozen Maiden (S1)
5- Shakugan no Shana
6- Mahoromatic
7- (New) Dominion Tank Police
8- Project A-ko
9- Mai HIme
10- Martian Successor Nadesico
1- Fate Stay/Night
Guess I considered everything I bought as "Toy"
mopeds, guitars, computers, even my motorbikes
the first "real" toy I bought after childhood was the Yamato VF1A Hikaru
waiting for the 1/48 to be released
It was all a matter of time though, when I was finally able to buy overseas
I would've bought a 1/55 out of nostalgia anyway
Don't ask me for names but I had a small wind up elephant and raptor and battery operated
mammoth and stegosaur (still have that last one ...somewhere)
*BuzzzZZZZzzzzz!!!!*
"Sorry, that answer has just taken away your chances to go to the final round
the correct answer is...........:"
the F-111
(not saying there are no similarities to the F-14,.. but the basis was the F-111)
Man, that thing would be huge,... absolutely bloody cool, but HUGE!
In more realistic terms, I'd want a 1/48 flightbay set
groundcrew, ammocarts, cranes, personel jeep(s)
everybody is talking about incorparating the most rediculous 1/48 designs
the only feasable option that won't fall apart if you so much as look at it
would be the telescopic feet
any idea how thin a swaybar like the 1/48 would be in 1/60?
or how to get it to lock inside the nose (the pegs you fold in on the nose of the 1/48
are tiny and almost impossible to get out even at their current scale)
integrated heatshield? maybe, but still flimsy and prone to braking off
I'd love to see the "Yamato's lousy QC" topics if they were to redesign the
1/60's the way people described here
The fact that I simply don't have more funds to collect these is the only
reason I didn't get them
I always browse the 'preorder' list at HLJ and this is one of the few things
I've had no connection with that caught my eye
oh well, maybe in the future
I said it years ago, they should add to the 1/60 line what would be too
expensive for the 1/48 line
M7, M0, enemy mechs, are all more 'possible' in 1/60
But if they were to redesign the vf1's I doubt I would buy them again
