    Hahaha. Grimdark is just a type of fiction where everything is terrible and hopeless. My personal favorite kind of fiction! It was mostly just a joke. But I would enjoy a more serious tone in some regards. DYRL definitely has some dark moments, as did the original show. The only dark moment in Frontier was when but that was more bitter sweet. I think most of the older fans would like something more meaningful and less moe (I hope), but I know they want to appeal to kids to sell kits and toys. A gothic Lolita punk singer would be cool, if it wasn't a rock band and kind of a techno pop kind of thing.

    Updated my shelves a bit with my new purchases! Gotta make room for my GBP still. These little mighty block stands are pretty solid. Major flaw being you cant fold the wings all the way together in bat mode, though I plan to get his cluster missiles on and spread them out a bit anyway ala DYRL.

    The 22's are growing on me a bit.. but I hate the Batroid mode. The legs are just too skinny, and I hate the hooded effect. Actually, the only VF other than the 1 and 0 that I DO like in Battorid, is the VF-11. *shrug* Even the 25's are kinda goofy to me.. mostly the bottom of the legs bug me on the 25's.

    Yeah. I was down to 2 Hot toy's, and though the Robocop figure is awesome... I just don't see myself collecting anymore of them. I am just not an action figure guy when it comes down to it. I prefer transforming robos - I used a good bit of points for the robo so it was a good deal for me. I traded it to a guy here for the VF-1J armor parts set. It's the late edition with good shoulders. Unused decals.

    I agree with CoreyD. I'm not going to go see this because Die Antwerd has a big role in it. I have no desire to see them try to be actors for 2 hours. I'll probably wait until the Blu-ray comes out.
