    I had a MANime weekend. Watched the Fist of the North Star movie and Cobra: Space Adventure. It's nice to see anime from a time where girls were actually drawn to be pretty. Both movies were very entertaining. The video quality was just amazing, except for the gory scenes in FotNS that for some reason were censored down to VHS-like quality. I might have to double dip on some of these Discotek titles if the video quality is going to be this good (mainly wondering if I should replace my Venus Wars and Golgo 13 dvds).

    Those valkyries would make a fun small-scale toy line if they were cheap; of course they are probably sold for ridiculous amounts at Wonderfest. The Zentran Power Armor just looks amazing.

    I think these are the two things Macross fans have always wanted to know: What's the deal with the SA, and what happened to the Megaroad. I think answering both questions at once would be the ultimate Macross sequel.

    I must have gotten a dud. I guess I can keep it in fighter mode or try to return it. I have pushed as hard as I can, and cannot get any movement. EDIT: Jeezus Christ. I finally got that damn cockpit down, and if I had not taken pains to not crush the canopy, I surely would have cracked it. This is how I had to hold it to get it down without breaking anything: My index fingers are on either side of the front console, and my middle fingers are on the head of the pilot's seat. I had the canopy up and open, so I wasn't pressing on it at all. Putting this here in case it helps anyone else.

    I was watching it. Not holding it underneath the gear. The thing is just stuck. When I push down I hear a lot of creaking as if it's about to break in multiple places.

    Guys, I'm trying to push the cockpit down for battroid mode and it is just not happening. I'm going to crush the cockpit if I push any harder. Help!

    Finally transformed my 19f today. I see what you guys mean about those ankle joints. The gerwalk mode on this thing would be perfect if those joints worked right. As it is I can barely get the thing to stand in gerwalk. The transformation of the chest was tricky, it took me a while to realize I had to snap the nosecone up into the chest. I'm still not sure I have it 100% correct.

    Finally got my VF-4 today and it's simply beautiful in fighter mode. I am totally afraid to transform it.
