  1. I don't know about the death of anime, but Japan's ability to create anime that I give two shits about died over ten years ago.
  2. Objectively bad just means a reasonable, unbiased person would watch the movie and pick out all the poor plotting the same way Red Letter Media did. I didn't mean objective in the ontological sense! Anyway, I may not understand big words, but I still wouldn't take off my damn helmet while on a strange planet!
  3. Makes as much sense as saying "Speak for yourself" in response to someone's opinion.
  4. That is amazing! I'd love to see what they've come up with.
  5. - 5. The movie is objectively bad.
  6. Mospeada's 30th anniversary is next year. I nominate Yamato to make a sick Legioss & Tread combo.
  7. Alaska base! Hell yeah!
  8. Wow, thinking Macross Zero and Frontier weren't very good means we are nostalgic and old? Maybe they just suck. Most sequels suck, guys. Not every one of them can be Empire Strikes Back. Everyone knows the Simpsons sucks now. Nobody can seriously argue that the Wars prequels were any good. Some things really aren't what they used to be.
  9. When does the blazer with the white stripes come out?
  10. This must be the greatest year of Graham's life. The 17 and now this bad boy.
  11. Thank you for changing my life in an awesome way.

    HI METAL LOVE THREAD

I'm just listing what I personally would have preferred. I'm not saying the line failed because of that stuff. But I would be a lot happier with chintzy but integral gear, a clip on but non-flush heat shield, and a gun that didn't necessitate two hands and a fighter mode attachment. Wait a minute, let me read between the lines a little bit... A ha! I knew you secretly agreed with me!

    HI METAL LOVE THREAD

I would have loved the Hi-metal if it had 1) integral landing gear (which was totally doable), 2) a clip-on heat shield instead of a swapped-out replacement for the canopy, 3) a gunpod that didn't require swapping hands/fighter mode attachments. I the end it just had too much part swapping.
  14. Oh man, I was just thinking about this guy yesterday. I love his art work.
  15. I personally think a Yamato Legioss wouldn't make it to clearance. For one, Yamato variable fighters are top notch in terms of looks, accuracy, and design, and frankly CMs were not. Second, I doubt Yamato would make as many. Plus I think people who buy Yamato valks would buy a Yamato Legioss just because.
  16. Gosh, this thing came and went in the middle of the night! Sure!
  17. I used to day dream about having a Legioss in this scale when I was a kid.
  18. Where do I send my money?
  19. Correct or not, I'm not a fan of the black deco around the cockpit. I like the blue though. I hope an Alaska Base scheme is in the works.
  20. I want those!
  21. I just think it's more likely that the dark color is shading, since every other valkyrie in the show follows the standard color pattern. If we assume the black color is a painted-on deco, then the toy is still missing the black triangle on the chest. And I'm not sure what Kawamori's approval would mean on a paint pattern some background artist came up with randomly.
  22. Maybe the red dot would look less silly if it were made of the same transparent plastic as the visor?
  23. Right there with you!
  24. Sweet, thanks. It's a pretty great toy. The gun pod attachment seems to be kinda ghetto, though. There's no way to get it to point straight forward.
