  1. On the other hand, it could be just another variation of the X Wing. I mean there are a ton of different Tie fighters. Although in this case, I think the new X-Wing isn't different enough to justify itself. I'm wondering what the design process was like. "I know, let's take the X-Wing, and REMOVE a wing from each side." "But then it won't be an X-Wing" "Hmm. In that case, let's split two remaining wings in half. Voila!"
  2. I think the problem is that the X-Wing is just too inconic of a design to go cutting the wings in half. I believe it really is just change for the sake of ego. Some designer somewhere is very proud to put his "touch" on the Star Wars universe, even though the result is a wimpier looking fighter.

    3P SD VF-1S

Those feet are ridiculously big. Shorten those up and these will look a lot better.

    Hi-Metal R

Ahh, so torn. These look great but I hate the parts swapping on the Hi-Metals. Hmm. If anything, the destroids and enemy mechs will make it worth it. Some zentraedi power armor and flight pods would be nice.
  5. Hey, if Miyatake doesn't mind that it sucks, that's good enough for me!

    3P SD VF-1S

I love super-deformed Valkyries. I love the Joke Machine and the Rohby. But this actually looks kinda crappy.
  7. The Orguss battroid looks kinda cool but none of the other modes really look like anything. I can't really get into it.
  8. Hmm, while we're day dreaming and Bandai is developing old-school valks, I wouldn't mind a DX VF-2SS or VF-2JA.
  9. I like the Yamato design but it would be interesting to see if Bandai could improve on it. One gripe I have with the Yamatos is that the backpack is way too far back in gerwalk mode. You would think they could engineer a solution to slide it forward a bit in that mode, but slide it back in battroid (so it doesn't stick up way too high). I also don't like the little break in the fighter-mode profile silhouette caused by the canopy hinge. My only other Yamato gripe is how the nosecone slides up in battroid mode. This means you don't get that cool look where the head is recessed in the "collar" area of the battroid. Also it means there is no room for the longer canopy of the VF-1D to occupy, which was a design f-up by Yamato in my opinion. This would be great! I loved the high metal other than all the parts swapping.
  10. I'm not gonna lie. I'm ALWAYS down for another VF-1. Always.
  11. Not me. I would buy the hell out of some SD valkyries!
  12. I'll stick with the manga and the original hand-animated OAV. Actually I suspect that one of the rules for modern day character designers is that all female designs appeal to cosplayers. So they have to sexy-up those outfits.
  13. Nice to see what is on the horizon for Mospeada fans. See what I did there?
  14. VF-2J Icarus is missing, which I may have picked for my second choice.
  15. All three primary colors on one robot? That is so 70's.
  16. Disagree based on the fact that I really want another VT-1. Seriously though, doesn't he always put out hints on his twitter like this? I'm going to remain optimistic.
  17. I thought all the Inbit were based on female genitalia. You know that Reflex Point is the G-spot, right?
  18. About time!
  19. Here you go!
  20. I would like to thank everyone in this thread, and especially Harmony Gold, for keeping me entertained for the last 3 weeks. I mean, at least give Harmony Gold credit for this kickstarter being much more entertaining to watch than Shadow Chronicles.
