    My Cannon Fodder and Glaug arrived yesterday. CF looks amazing. Appreciate the TV head & shoulder cover. However I still can't get over the need to swap out the canopy & gunpod handle. The Glaug is huge! Looks fantastic but man are those click joints weak! WTF is the point of click joints if they can't even hold up the toy? Anybody know how to fix them?

    I hope this isn't a live action version of the original Ghost in the Shell animated movie, because that movie was frankly terrible. It tried so hard to be deep but just ended up being boring and excruciating to sit through. Especially those long scenes showing the city with the weird wailing/singing in the background.

    Agreed! The unfamiliar sound effects takes me right out of the experience. Why watch a bastardization of a bastardization? Robotech is only worth watching for the nostalgia, otherwise I might as well watch Macross.

    Man I dunno. I want to like it. Proportions are kind bizarre though. Huge legs & feet, tiny head, etc. Not liking how the head & chest hang in fighter. Also the feet stick out way too far in the rear, as usual. Is the Legioss just impossible to do right without anime magic?

    So obviously Nintendo really wants to get out of the console market. They know what side their bread is buttered on, and that's handhelds. They dominate the handheld market, and would really like to wean us all off of consoles and just get us to use handhelds. The Wii U was basically a console with a handheld attachment they wanted gamers to get used to. Now the Switch is a console that's really a handheld with a dock and TV out. It's all part of their plan to exit the console market and get us to come with them. I totally don't know if any of the above is true but it's a fun hypothesis.

    I'm supporting that one and I've tried to spread the word on Reddit, Facebook, and other sites. It even has a really fantastic stop-motion (or CG, not sure) commercial. It's criminally under-supported.

    I have the same theory about Tom Cruise. They just tell him that the movie is real and he thinks it's actually happening. Their teacher is totally Bill Waterson.

    The crying man-baby tears in this thread are delicious. They made ONE frakkING movie with women in it and the neckbeards lose their crap. Get over it!

    It's incredibly sexist to assume that a cast of female leads is due to sexism and not because those women happened to be the best for the roles.

    I watched this over the weekend with some friends and we all liked it. I wouldn't rate it as highly as Bridesmaids (I really liked Bridesmaids) but it was definitely enjoyable. I thought Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones had the best characters which was surprising since the other two are much bigger stars.

    Movie starring some of the funniest people in Hollywood isn't out yet: "I KNOW this movie will be bad!" Thousands of nasty comments using the words c*nt and b*tch posted to the youtube trailer. "You don't KNOW that these people hate women!" Okay.

    Honestly this movie is just looking better and better with each trailer. I think the people who said this movie is going to be crap now have to to hate it even if it's good to save face. I think the hate is intended to ruin the experience. Like "we can't stop you from putting women in movies but we'll do everything we can to ruin it for you." It's ridiculous.

    Here's the problem. Nobody can fill the shoes of Harrison Ford. Nobody. It can't be done. Anyone they cast will be a disappointment. We don't need these movies. Harrison Ford IS Han Solo. Period.
