  1. There's a Morton's Steak House in Macau!?!
  2. Thanks again, that's pretty much what I was looking for. I've been on a FP Headmasters kick lately. After fiddling around with a friend's Smart Robin, I decided to hunt one for myself. I recently got FP's Weird Wolf, and now looking for the Chrome Dome. Can't say I was really big on the original Headmasters, but the transformations on FP versions are ingenious.
  3. Does the biker-shorts-wearing Hasbro version count? Y'know, I thought the general consesus now was that V1 Rodimus was better than V2 since V2 had the same issues as V1 but with a couple more. I was thinking the same thing about the metal parts. I can easily see the plastic gear teeth from the other leg parts getting ground up against the metal after some time. Thanks for the insight, I didn't think about shortening the springs.
  4. I just recently heard about the replacement knee joints for MP-09 that have been popping up on Ebay. Has anyone here tried them? I've seen them in metal and plastic, but I was wondering if making them metal might things worse for the surrounding pieces.
  5. Play Arts are hit and miss. Due to weird looking knee joints and horrible paint jobs, they've been mostly miss. That being said, I like my Solid Snake and Batman figures.
  6. Indeed, may every MWer get the valk they desire. Or world peace. Or a cheeseburger. Merry Xmas!
  7. Utopia arrived a few days ago for me. I've always wanted a Metroplex, and it doesn't disappoint. While just a tad shorter than the official Titan class version, it's proportions and articulation are far better. It feels sturdy too, I have no qualms manhandling this thing.
  8. 1/6 scale Hulkbuster...damn. People can live with just one kidney, right?
  9. There a few more pics of the Bellerophon (as well as some 1/6 eye candy) on this site from a recent exhibit.
  10. Those lower leg panels and the offending butt flap are what made me give up my preorder. I was really hoping those eyesores would be fixed as the final release date got closer, but no such luck. The way he is now, I could definitely omit him from my lineup. If ever TakaTomy decides to redo him ala Starscream and Prime, I'll probably get him then.
  11. I'm still down for one, if it was that dark colored one I saw a while back. Not this light purply thingy.
  12. I think odds are better in having a 3rd party making a VF-2SS toy before Arcadia or Bandai. But then again Hi-Metals are making a comeback...
  13. Too bad it looks nothing like my Shepard.
  14. Wow, all this time I thought it was friggin White Lion. Regardless, awesome movie is awesome!
  15. Any movie whose opening theme is done by White Lion is already kickass.
  16. Ooooh, Hi-Metals are back! Monster: "You're blocking my shot!" Spartan: "F that, I'm beating the sh*t out of it!
  17. I usually love SD versions of my fave mechs, but this one just doesn't ring my bell. I still prefer my Joke Machines.
  18. Apparently they are too busy watching porn to do so. It's weird how Apollyon is coming from the same company that has so far just released minibot clones and add-ons. Out of nowhere comes a MP-scaled Megatron.
  19. Psycho was special in that he was originally a Space Adventure Cobra toy called the Psychoroid. So that small chromed figure may have been Cobra himself (or Lady).
