  1. That's why from the start I think it is a scaled-up Quarter design, which is the reason why the bridge is proportionally smaller than the Quarter's.
  2. It would be nice if they have a VF-31 in some camouflage paint scheme, which is both realistic and more colorful.
  3. Maybe the fire control computer onboard the VF-31 automatically adjusts the positioning of the guns based on the distance to the target.
  4. VF-31A Siegfried: Still WIP as of the moment as I am doing the other variants as well.
  5. I don't think the YF-21 is exactly an antagonist design as it is a UN Spacy design as well, and also developed into the VF-22. You do have a point on the similarity to the Nousjadeul-Ger, and I myself can't wait to see it in battroid.
  6. Going over this episode I see some parallels between the Windermere Revolution and the real life Iranian Revolution, such as the xenophobia, state-sponsored terrorism, etc.
  7. Falling by Phily D Ft. Mhayu (a Filipino rap love song (in English)):
  8. I think it is a retrofit craft like the VF-171EX from Frontier, with less substantial modification.
  9. I am pretty sure the VF-31 uses EX-Gear, and also assume that all new model VF's since the VF-25 use EX-Gear.
  10. Actually, it is apparently a stretched, conventionally-powered version of the Charles De Gaulle as it is around 170 m long while the CDG is around 160 m long.
  11. If it was Laguna it will be funny if there is a town there called Calauan whose main produce is pineapples, and expect some pineapple salad!(in real life Calauan is a town in Laguna Province known for pineapples)
  12. You are right about that regarding the balance between silly and serious. As for where I come from, I watch Macross for the more serious bits (such as the battles) while (mostly) ignoring the silly parts. That is why I have no problem with Delta even though other people who like Macross for the seriousness aspect have a hard time suspending their disbelief.
  13. My impression of Macross (in general) is that they mix serious stuff with lighthearted stuff. It is just how the viewer perceives it.
  14. Oops, I am mostly ignorant on Robotech, as I got introduced to Macross through Frontier. What I meant in the first sentence is that the VF-X-4 (and presumably the YF-4) use VF-1 parts, then it would have a similar transformation to the VF-1.
  15. Having a VF-1 based transformation does make sense for a prototype made with VF-1 parts. However, there is info on the FB2012 VF-4 on Robotech sites, such as this.
  16. The Ford Class carriers IMO are closer to the Asuka II in concept as they both have stealth features. However, the real-life DEAC concept aircraft carrier from DCNS is closer to the Asuka II in its appearance (especially the island) and its size (around 270 m):
  17. Based on the pictures the YF-4 apparently has a different transformation from the VF-4 we all know. Just see the GERWALK and Battroid modes, they are different from the VF-4:
  18. Jesus Gabay by Bunso of Team Gudvibes (a Filipino rap song):
  19. The technology used is the same holographic costume change tech used in Frontier, but of course the ones in Delta are simply designed to look like a magical girl transformation. it is just that how it looks does not sit well with some viewers even though in-universe it is possible given the technology.
  20. AFAIK if fighter pilots have to relieve themselves in flight, they have relief tubes for that.
  21. Updated version of the Uraga, with hull-mounted beam gun turrets (similar to those on the ARMD carrier), airlock hatches and vernier thrusters: I am also working on the NUNS stealth cruiser seen in Frontier and Delta.
  22. Just to add to this thread, there is a free and open source clone of Windows that is currently in alpha, ReactOS. Once it gets more stable it would be a viable alternative to Windows, as you can run your Windows programs on it.
  23. For a cheap CAS aircraft, why can't the USAF just buy off the shelf designs such as the OV-10X, T-6C or Super Tucano? These are designs that are good for low-intensity conflicts, such as counterinsurgency missions like those done by the OV-10 in the Philippines.
