  1. Here is a Shipbucket scale Uraga Class aircraft carrier that I am working on. Still WIP as I have to put more details and coloring.
  2. I have seen some with Gundams (like the blue "King Joel" plying the Antipolo-Cubao route some time ago), but so far I haven't seen ones with VF's. Maybe it is just a (stylized) F-14 Tomcat?
  3. Which in turn, had its thrust vectoring nozzles based on the X-31 experimental aircraft:
  4. Found this while searching for "Grace O'Connor cosplay": http://www.grace-oconnor.com/
  5. Actually, even if they have common features (such as transformation) the parts used would be different. For example, in real life while aircraft with similar capability (let's say F-16 Fighting Falcon and F/A-18 Hornet) have similar technologies used, the subsystems in them would be different due to different requirements by their end users.
  6. Upon closer inspection, Grumman's Concept 10 ATF proposal that I previously wrote looks like a single-tailed VF-11 actually looks more like the YF-10 variable fighter from Astro Plan (a Chinese show that ripped off Macross Frontier):
  7. Didn't know there were other Filipino members of this forum! I thought this thread is about merchandise sold in the Philippines due to the title, but it was because a Filipino posted it
  8. This is the closest thing in the Macross universe to your idea of a variable ground mecha.
  9. FD Scale is another scale used by Shipbucket artists, and is usually used for drawing vehicles and aircraft at a scale of 22.093px/1m in a similar style as Shipbucket Scale. It originated from an Italian military forum (Forum Defensia), hence the name FD. Here is the VF-1 Valkyrie drawn in FD Scale by Shipbucket artist darthpanda (note: drawing is of Roy's unit but incorrectly labeled as Hikaru's):
  10. The micro missiles seen in Macross appear to be inspired by the real-life AGM-124 Wasp, which was also supposed to be fired against targets in swarms and is smaller than contemporary missiles like the AGM-65:
  11. Shipbucket is a style of pixel lineart that is used to represent ships, aircraft, vehicles, etc. at a scale of 2px:1ft (or 1px:0.15m). For a more comprehensive guide to Shipbucket lineart, see Shipbucket FAQ and Shipbucket Style Rules and Standards. Many of these drawings have been originally posted here and are done by me and some other Shipbucket artists. VF-0 Phoenix: SV-51: ES-11D Cat's Eye: VF-4 Lightning III: VF-11 Thunderbolt: VF-25 Messiah: Some of the drawings are incomplete, such as the variable fighters lacking gunpods and the RVF-25 lacking the ELINT antenna.
  12. More Grumman ATF proposals here (including a design that looks like a single-tailed VF-11): http://yf-23.net/Grumman.html Another one: VF-5000 Star Mirage: Rockwell ATF proposal (Concept 6):
  13. The YF/VF-19 seems to be inspired by one of Grumman's proposals for the Advanced Tactical Fighter program:
  14. Well as I saw it is more "Arab" than "Muslim" as the surroundings and architecture have a "West Asia" feel compared to other Muslim places.
  15. Namimiss Na Kita by Jhomajikero of Lhirikoh Familia Production For those who do not understand Filipino, there is an English version of this song, I Badly Miss You Girl, also by the same artist.
  16. (For Filipino speakers) Could any of you relate to this song?
