  1. Still don't like the collar and the cowl showing too much of the jaw ala Daredevil Affleck.
  2. Maybe the said bills are Macross related as well.
  3. Truth be told as much as I love FJ, I'm perplexed as how they're still in business. They're charging a flat fee of either 300 or 700 Yen only. When you buy or bid on items, the amount you pay doesn't account for Paypal fees (if that's the method used) that is supposed to be charged on the recipient when you send the deposit or payment. Actually, unless there are hidden costs tacked on the international shipping price, I see that they're charging the actual cost of everything (item amount, applicable transfer fees, domestic shipping, and international shipping). If everybody is buying high priced items, the fees deducted by paypal will definitely add up.

Mid action, that photo just screams "Relax micron, it will slide in smoothly." instead of that head bashing. Either way, Hayao just gets screwed constantly.
  5. Hi, I'm Mr. Ya, Nippo N. I'm more commonly known and addressed as Mr. Ya-san by my colleagues and employees. I know what you're saying Mr. Sqidd-san. As a fellow business owner, I don't appreciate being bad mouthed without all the facts. I like your way of thinking Mr. Sqidd-san. I know we'll get along quite well. As for the Snow White, the dimensions I have with a proper fitting shipping box is 17" x 6.5" x 12.5". I would put the weight between 4 to 5 lbs. Just input that on Fedex's website with a Japan to USA destination and you'll see the price is 50% more than $90. I'd say Kurama-san isn't nickel and diming you. Regards, Mr. Nippo N. Ya (aka Mr. Ya-san)
  6. Well Kakizaki is the embodiment of a cannon fodder so just bundling another sheet of decals from Bandai will solve the problem of having either or.
  7. No. It is 220K Yen or 2,250 USD.
  8. A lot of my watched items from them are still getting bought or sold constantly. Who knows? If they really wanted to sell more stuff because sales have been bad, a good discount on all items would do better than some random drawing. I'd like to win but I'm not buying just because of that. If they dropped the price, that will definitely push me to make a purchase.
  9. Sometimes I find the prices listed on the sales thread here to be somewhat ridiculous. Never really understood the 4% if not F&F. Just incorporate the fee to the selling price and be done with it. Give the buyer that added protection without having them do the math.
  10. DHL? To which country? I don't know why they quoted me for EMS when they know it's not available to the US yet. To the US? If so, that's not bad.
  11. Oh. Just in case nobody has seen it then. :P PVT Parts can partner with RDML.
  12. Or Prv. Parts Cpl. Punishment PFC Ticket
  13. Mine would probably be "Maj. Depression" lol!
  14. Maybe you should ask them? The second batch has been released weeks ago.
  15. Naaaaaaah. @Anasazi37 got me covered on that one. Ain't spending $200 something dollars just to get a decal sheet.
  16. Unless somebody brings it to their attention. I'm just assuming that's what happened. Anyway, battroid is ugly. Roy's (non canon) version looks better than Hikaru's as the yellow and black makes it pop and the head design + antenna adds more character to it. Makes it look like a legit skull leader configuration whereas Hikaru's looks like a cannon fodder.
  17. Toys action figures. What prize do I get?
  18. I think there's still room for big innovations. Range of shoulder movement can still be improved (ability to move towards the midline vertically and horizontally) and implement a slight ab crunch. KC has double jointed knees which can be implemented to the DX and works well on a naked valk.
  19. All this talk about passing down collections reminded me of this thought I have that to whomever it gets passed down, will they really find value (sentimental or percieved monetary) in these things? My thinking here is, once the generation that grew up adoring these stuff passes on, the perceived value goes down drastically. In the end it's just junk for somebody and they need to get rid off. Can you really see your kids in their adulthood thinking these are heirlooms, worth a fortune, and will be passed on to their kids and so on? I bet if and when they try selling them, it will be difficult to find somebody willing to pay a decent amount for them. Factor in that they would have lots of baggage in life to deal with and organizing/keeping these toys end up at the bottom of their to do list. Ok, let's say they end up following your footsteps and be a collector as well. I would say that the collectors of that generation will put more value on something they grew up with (Pokemon maybe?). Much like when I see those vintage 1960-70s Poppy toys, I would say cool but I'm not buying any of those even if I have the money. It reminds me of a watch my dad left behind when he passed away. It has perceived monetary value to it but more on the lower end. I'm not wearing it because it's not my style. I haven't had it undergo maintenance or serviced yet and I haven't stored it in a self winding machine as it has an automatic movement. I'm keeping it as a remembrance of him. Imagine though, if he left behind boxes and boxes of these watches. I barely have space for my toys as it is and most likely I'll sell those watches instead of keeping them. Maybe I'll put some effort selling some for top dollar but probably most of it will be a bargain. I guess at the end of it all, just open up all your valks (and other toys) and play with them. Enjoy them as much as you can. If you do plan on selling, just make sure to do it and sell it to @sqidd before he enters retirement or dies.
  20. "Where's my valk? The seller just sent me a box of flour. I'm complaining to ebay/pp."
  21. If you look at all his other auctions, the seller is clearly delusional.

Gotta have big hands if you're handling a Meltrandi.
