  1. Because that's EMS to the US which doesn't make sense since that service is still suspended. They will be holding onto the Voltes V until EMS resumes.
  2. ... Disney has owned Marvel for more than 10 years already. Where were you? They didn't buy Hot Toys. What's going on here?
  3. From what I read somewhere else. CDJapan charged somewhere 10K yen for Fedex priority going to California. Anime Export charged 21K for DHL going to Texas. If Amiami cannot ship out using DHL, which is weird given others are doing it, I think they should offer a chance for cancelation.
  4. I'm surprised HLJ is asking that much when other retailers outside of Amazon JP seem to max out somewhere 20000 yen for DHL or Fedex.
  5. Kurama is based in Hong Kong. My assumption is any TWEs get shipped from Japan to HK first before going out to the buyers.
  6. Doubt it. It's still up on their website. High demand items for TWE sell out within minutes.
  7. Oh don't worry. Somebody will eventually put that information out. I could do it myself
  8. They just started shipping them out. And why are you asking them a week ago when these just started getting into collector's hands about 3-4 days ago and those people live in Japan?
  9. I can see what you're trying to point out but the issue with the prototype is that it isn't accurate anymore to the final render of the armor. The prototype most likely was based on the early designs/ promotional art by Disney/Marvel. Obviously, Hot Toys will redesign it to accurately match the final render or else it's not just the RDJ headsculpt that people will be up in arms about. This is similar to the Mk46 and Mk50 armors. Early prototypes of their figures were based on the promotional art and people were quick to point out the differences from the actual armor seen in the movie. I can't blame Hot Toys for the loss of some details on the armor on this one.
  10. I'm not sure what you're referring to here but it looks accurate to the actual armor from the movie scene.
  11. The new headsculpt just needs to be tweaked with a slightly wider jaw. They need to improve the paint app on it a well because they're saying the paint isn't good and the supposed facial texture become too smooth. In certain angles, the new sculpt captures RDJ's likeness.
  12. That's something you could have done for yourself by reading their FAQs on their website instead of waiting for an answer here. Most retailers will have that information available.
  13. I haven't had issues with my stuff but I haven't heard any bad things with the retailers I've used for my 1/6 wants especially with how finicky these Hot Toys collectors are.
  14. Other retailers have it for lower with free shipping if one wants to put the effort of shopping around. Anyway, with regards to getting Hot Toys 1/6 stuff from, BBTS is near the bottom of my list, with Sideshow itself at the very bottom. The official US distributor ironically has the worst pricing of them all.
  15. Needs a 1/6 Megazord, Dragonzord, and Titanus to go with the set.
  16. The work happens after that 30 or so minutes of "exercise." Depending on different factors, the work will be up to 18 years on average per successful "exercise."
  17. Somebody from another forum has his MSRP Roy in preparation with NY. We should ask our resident NY honorary VP and best friend to the CEO @Slave IV to give a report.
  18. I could understand the Iron Man version itself but the rest, why?
  19. I hope it's not a dud since Bandai is trying out making these supposed premium lines. The new Imagination Works line comes into mind and the first release is crap.
  20. Just saw @Slave IV and Nippon Yasan's CEO doing a dance number:
  21. Said CEO probably shipped himself via slowboat and he's on his way to meet @Slave IV with all the DX Roys they had in stock.
  22. Are you still holding to this belief when in fact a lot of the initial lower-priced POs here have been received already as early as 12/1 even and was sent out 24-48 hours after the (or A) higher priced one was shipped out? Just read a few pages back. @Alan Molina's transaction with them was unfortunate but that seemed to have stemmed this idea and gotten out of control.
