Is that a little bit of a unfilled connector below the FP's on further side? Am wondering how the FP's connectors hold on to the wing in kit form...

Dont see it posted here, so here is a side view ....view... In the model's thread, i brought up the question of how the FP connectors hold on to the wing. Its also slightly curved at the front of the connector without clipping on the leading edge..Perhaps its a model kit issue, am wondering how the DX will look like with FP connectors..

Although the leg base is large, based on the panel yea i thk that would most likely be the ideal solution. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I dont thk you are the only one, but there are a those who like the anubis look too. I would say its 50-50? I do like the eyes tho, with the menacing lines. just like daylight running lights on cars... on re-check, the commander head line-art and the 1/72 kit has the eye-lines are more obvious. On the DX its more like the inner reflection on the lower eye-lid..

Now that u mentioned it, I thk I need to believe that the draken has to lift its leg back to 'fly' forward in gerwalk mode. There isn't any back facing thrusters at all!

GERWALK mode much clearer pics! thanks to hachi who posted the link in the tomytec models thread... more pics in the link......http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10389710a/20/1 Its not the same scale just note. However it certainly doesnt look as busy or gappy as the 1/72 kit display!!

The reason i mentioned extension; is that the1/72 seems to have a thinner spine, literally stretching to the display base arm. And there seems to be the smaller wings spread out beside it. It all seems to me like a split and slide mechanism somehow... Dont quite know what to make of it though, it looks like a puzzle back there.. The gunmount base also looks to be much shorter in length (shoulder to shoulder), making it seem as if the DX battroid backpack split in half. The DX back seems to have a much thicker "backpack/spine" in battroid than the 1/72 kit. Either way, will treat the 1/72 kit as a guide rather than an actual, although i dont thk it would vary too much. It looks like the tomytec draken gerwalk doesnt even have a spine running back there! wish there was a clearer pic tho....

I hope the DX FP's have removable covers and such... And unless there is a hinge somewhere, looks like the 31 wont be deploying anything from those leg pods. The 31A had the FP's but regular charger pods...

There is always the option of going down the paint commision route.. Am ok even if its not painted, as long as its colored sprues, am ok with it. *Thats my wallet talking btw... Wallet healthcare

It looks as if part of the back was left extended, as opposed to the gerwalk mechanic pics posted before that dont show that much gaps. Just have to wait for DX gerwalk shots i suppose.

Nice! At least they are pre-colored..The airbrush work of the delta busts really bring them out then, esp looking at the shading on freya and mikumo's hair... Plus delta busts look much better than the gundam ones, esp with the delta logo included..

Frankly if they used freya (or walkure) as the girl figures, perhaps it would be infinitely more interesting...

Nice! Are the valks also included?! Questions: 1. Whose line is this..bandai? If so the valks maybe seperate mecha collection valks... just saw the similar busts for the gundam line, so it is bandai's...most likely those are the mecha collection valks.. **just to add: it looks like those busts are seperate and can be attached to any bandai stand somehow... 2. Are the busts prepainted or needing paint?

Am sure many had the same thought too. Robustness and tight fit of the parts (as in after transforming) are always of a concern. If they solve those, it would be a lifesaver for the wallet.. only thing you would have to build 3 sets if you wanted the 3 modes displayed...

Putting out the 1/72 kit gerwalk for an idea what the DX would look like.
