As per the screenshot, the hinges are boxed. The only reason, i can thk of for not exactly following is that having opposing hinges on either side would pressure the sides to close more. Thus lessening the gapiness of the tailfins, when they are in fighter mode. Maybe they could have used tiny pegs on the inner sides to snap shut the tailfins too, but i dont know how reliable that would be or aesthetically speaking if it would cause bumps on the shield that could not be hidden.

To which i would say we dont know yet. However watching them so far in action i dont see any shots from their nose cones, so probility a no to head lasers. I thk that explains hinges appearing everywhere in fighter mode. But you brought up a good point, and likely the answer is that those panels are flattened/closed, and lie flat behind the shoulders in gerwalk. Which brings me to notice, why is the so called gun connector painted gold, when in gerwalk there isnt any hint of gold for the gun connector? Its quite obvious there us a blue block holding the gun up instead. There would be a ton of hinges and rotating pegs in every part of this valks body. The complexity of maintaining tight joints and hinges just got exponentially higher! The gun mount was also my reply and i mentioned that an over shoulder bfg in battroid would be unlikely due to the design and shortness of the peg. Plus the mount is centerized on the back spine, which would mean an over the head not over shoulder.That being said, the mystery now is the color, as in the gerwalk pic, the mount is clearly blue and not gold.

I like this angle of the head, those horns look like they have eyes too. The cockpit seems to be well hidden in tha back too. Really flush against the gun mount. Pity, i was hoping to see a lil of those nice cockpit sensors in front actually. Thanks to IXTL for updating the photo's ... Cant wait to see the CF versions!

@mkyuun the back connector looks like a peg for the gun. So that the gun would be free to rotate in fighter mode. Probably less obvious if the gun was reattched to the back in battroid mode.

Hmm all i see are panel lines and what seems to be a small hinge? This really might be the valk that doesnt have any, even in ep 2 we see them 'parked' in gerwalk.Nice call though on the rotating legs, forgot they did that. Those shoulder joints are looking real menacing w the machined parts looking like muscles too!

ermm where are the landing gear panels!?? The draken has no Knees to have them come out of!! If those golden panels on the shins are indeed landing bay doors...it must be the most decorated doors in aircraft history. As if there are golden wheels under the mansion doors. must.not.look.at.hinges.on.shield.

Golden connector at the back must be where the gun conects to. Doesnt look like shoulder mounted BFG's is avalable for Battroid.. The connector looks movable up and down, but unless it can swing upwards it doesnt look like it can reach the shoulders. Still...

Bandai's 1/144 scale dont look quite as detailed... i still prefer the older f-toys 1/144 scale sw versions... The turbo laser turrets would look good together with the 1/144's.. -

Perhaps lady M is mikumo, she seems to be the one with an mysterious agenda and the only walkure who didnt seem to get that fazed by attacks during the concert. Not to mention she talks to the stars. -

taylor swift named her album 1989 cos the 80's sells(!) and maybe clown hands have model version 0 too But, i dont see any pictures of hands in Mr K's development blogs. Actually looking at Mr K's blog pics, having the VF-0S semi-nude looks (its not as creepy as it sounds) , the 0s looks sorta bulked up esp if just wearing the forearm armors for example... Insert wallet WARNING LABEL here!
